OESA-2026-1023 (CVE-2025-14177)
Vulnerability from osv_openeuler – Published: 2026-01-09 11:10 – Updated: 2026-08-06 11:10 – Source websitePHP is an HTML-embedded scripting language. PHP attempts to make it easy for developers to write dynamically generated web pages. PHP also offers built-in database integration for several commercial and non-commercial database management systems, so writing a database-enabled webpage with PHP is fairly simple. The most common use of PHP coding is probably as a replacement for CGI scripts. %if 1 The php package contains the module (often referred to as mod_php) which adds support for the PHP language to Apache HTTP Server when running in prefork mode. This module is deprecated. %endif
Security Fix(es):
A memory information leak vulnerability exists in PHP's getimagesize function. Attackers may exploit this vulnerability to obtain sensitive memory information. The vulnerability affects multiple PHP versions including 8.1.x, 8.2.x, 8.3.x, 8.4.x, and 8.5.x series.(CVE-2025-14177)
A heap buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the array_merge() function of PHP. If we were using a memory safe language we would be limited to DoS attacks, but now we have heap corruption risks. This bug has been in PHP since PHP 7.1.(CVE-2025-14178)
A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability exists in PHP's PDO (PHP Data Objects) extension when handling quoting functionality. An attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability to cause application crashes or denial of service.(CVE-2025-14180)
