In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: firewire-motu: fix buffer overflow in hwdep read for DSP events The DSP event handling code in hwdep_read() could write more bytes to the user buffer than requested, when a user provides a buffer smaller than the event header size (8 bytes). Fix by using min_t() to clamp the copy size, This ensures we never copy more than the user requested.

CWE-787 - Out-of-bounds Write

This issue can lead to a kernel bug, resulting in a denial of service (system crash) and potentially impacting container isolation on affected hosts.

CWE-825 - Expired Pointer Dereference
Affected products
Fixed 121 products, the same list as for CVE-2025-68347
Threats
Impact Important

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's xfrm input component. The transport-mode reinjection process, which handles network packet re-injection, stores a network namespace pointer that must remain valid until a deferred callback completes. However, a missing reference count for the network namespace during this deferred operation could lead to a use-after-free vulnerability. This could allow an attacker to potentially cause a system crash or other unpredictable behavior if the network namespace is deallocated prematurely.

CWE-911 - Improper Update of Reference Count
Affected products
Fixed 121 products, the same list as for CVE-2025-68347
Threats
Impact Moderate

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's IPv6 Virtual Tunnel Interface (VTI) module. When a VTI tunnel device is moved to a different network environment, an unprivileged user in a separate user space can manipulate tunnel parameters. This manipulation could allow the user to intercept or redirect network traffic intended for other parts of the system or other containers, leading to unauthorized information disclosure or denial of service across different tenants on a container host.

CWE-653 - Improper Isolation or Compartmentalization
Affected products
Fixed 121 products, the same list as for CVE-2025-68347
Threats
Impact Important

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's netfilter synproxy module. When handling TCP timestamp options, a stale pointer can be used after memory reallocation. This can result in memory corruption, where data is written to a freed memory area, or lead to packets being sent with an incorrect checksum. A remote attacker could potentially exploit this to cause system instability or network communication issues.

CWE-825 - Expired Pointer Dereference
Affected products
Fixed 121 products, the same list as for CVE-2025-68347
