Summary

Уязвимость ядра JavaScript в движке для отображения веб-страниц WebKit браузера Safari вызвана переполнением буфера в динамической памяти. Эксплуатация уязвимости может позволить нарушителю, действующему удалённо, вызвать отказ в обслуживании (запись за границами памяти, завершение работы приложения) или оказать другое воздействие, используя специально сформированный JavaScript-код, который запускает доступ к ячейкам памяти красной зоны, связанной с jit/ThunkGenerators.cpp, llint/LowLevelInterpreter32_64.asm и llint/LowLevelInterpreter64.asm
