Title
block: zero non-PI portion of auto integrity buffer
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
block: zero non-PI portion of auto integrity buffer
The auto-generated integrity buffer for writes needs to be fully
initialized before being passed to the underlying block device,
otherwise the uninitialized memory can be read back by userspace or
anyone with physical access to the storage device. If protection
information is generated, that portion of the integrity buffer is
already initialized. The integrity data is also zeroed if PI generation
is disabled via sysfs or the PI tuple size is 0. However, this misses
the case where PI is generated and the PI tuple size is nonzero, but the
metadata size is larger than the PI tuple. In this case, the remainder
("opaque") of the metadata is left uninitialized.
Generalize the BLK_INTEGRITY_CSUM_NONE check to cover any case when the
metadata is larger than just the PI tuple.
Severity
No CVSS data available.

Title
netfilter: bridge: make ebt_snat ARP rewrite writable
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: bridge: make ebt_snat ARP rewrite writable
The ebtables SNAT target keeps the Ethernet source address rewrite
behind skb_ensure_writable(skb, 0). This is intentional: at the bridge
ebtables hooks the Ethernet header is addressed through
skb_mac_header()/eth_hdr(), while skb->data points at the Ethernet
payload. Asking skb_ensure_writable() for ETH_HLEN bytes would check
the payload, not the Ethernet header, and would reintroduce the small
packet regression fixed by commit 63137bc5882a.
However, the optional ARP sender hardware address rewrite is different.
It writes through skb_store_bits() at an offset relative to skb->data:
skb_store_bits(skb, sizeof(struct arphdr), info->mac, ETH_ALEN)
skb_header_pointer() only safely reads the ARP header; it does not make
the later sender hardware address range writable. If that range is
still held in a nonlinear skb fragment backed by a splice-imported file
page, skb_store_bits() maps the frag page and copies the new MAC address
directly into it.
Ensure the ARP SHA range is writable before reading the ARP header and
before calling skb_store_bits().

This is intentional: at the bridge\nebtables hooks the Ethernet header is addressed through\nskb_mac_header()/eth_hdr(), while skb-\u003edata points at the Ethernet\npayload. Asking skb_ensure_writable() for ETH_HLEN bytes would check\nthe payload, not the Ethernet header, and would reintroduce the small\npacket regression fixed by commit 63137bc5882a.\n\nHowever, the optional ARP sender hardware address rewrite is different.\nIt writes through skb_store_bits() at an offset relative to skb-\u003edata:\n\n skb_store_bits(skb, sizeof(struct arphdr), info-\u003emac, ETH_ALEN)\n\nskb_header_pointer() only safely reads the ARP header; it does not make\nthe later sender hardware address range writable. If that range is\nstill held in a nonlinear skb fragment backed by a splice-imported file\npage, skb_store_bits() maps the frag page and copies the new MAC address\ndirectly into it.\n\nEnsure the ARP SHA range is writable before reading the ARP header and\nbefore calling skb_store_bits()."

Title
blk-cgroup: fix UAF in __blkcg_rstat_flush()
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
blk-cgroup: fix UAF in __blkcg_rstat_flush()
When multiple blkgs in the same blkcg are released concurrently,
a use-after-free can occur. The race happens when one blkg's
__blkcg_rstat_flush() removes another blkg's iostat entries via
llist_del_all(). The second blkg sees an empty list and proceeds
to free itself while the first is still iterating over its entries.
Move the flush from __blkg_release() (RCU callback) to blkg_release()
(before call_rcu). This ensures the RCU grace period waits for any
concurrent flush's rcu_read_lock() section to complete before freeing.

Title
mac802154: llsec: add skb_cow_data() before in-place crypto
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mac802154: llsec: add skb_cow_data() before in-place crypto
llsec_do_encrypt_unauth(), llsec_do_encrypt_auth(),
llsec_do_decrypt_unauth(), and llsec_do_decrypt_auth() all perform
in-place cryptographic transformations on skb data. They build a
scatterlist with sg_init_one() pointing into the skb's linear data area
and then pass the same scatterlist as both src and dst to the crypto API
(e.g. crypto_skcipher_encrypt/decrypt, crypto_aead_encrypt/decrypt).
On the RX path, __ieee802154_rx_handle_packet() clones the received skb
before handing it to each subscriber via ieee802154_subif_frame(). The
cloned skb shares the same underlying data buffer via reference
counting. When llsec_do_decrypt() subsequently modifies this shared
buffer in place, it corrupts data that other clones -- potentially
belonging to other sockets or subsystems -- still reference.
On the TX path, similar data sharing can occur when an skb's head has
been cloned (skb_cloned() returns true).
The fix is to call skb_cow_data() before performing any in-place crypto
operation. skb_cow_data() ensures that the skb's data area is not
shared: if the skb head is cloned or the data spans multiple fragments,
it copies the data into a private buffer that can be safely modified in
place. This is the same pattern used by:
- ESP (net/ipv4/esp4.c, net/ipv6/esp6.c)
- MACsec (drivers/net/macsec.c)
- WireGuard (drivers/net/wireguard/receive.c)
- TIPC (net/tipc/crypto.c)
Without this guard, in-place crypto on shared skb data leads to:
- Silent data corruption of other skb clones
- Use-after-free when the crypto API scatterwalk writes through a
page that has already been freed by another clone's kfree_skb()
- Kernel crashes under concurrent 802.15.4 traffic with security
enabled (KASAN/KMSAN reports slab-use-after-free)
Found by 0sec (https://0sec.ai) using automated source analysis.

block: don't overwrite bip_vcnt in bio_integrity_copy_user()
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
block: don't overwrite bip_vcnt in bio_integrity_copy_user()
bio_integrity_add_page() already sets bip_vcnt to 1 for the bounce
segment. Overwriting it with nr_vecs breaks bip_vcnt <= bip_max_vcnt
on WRITE (bip_max_vcnt is 1), so the gap-merge checks in block/blk.h
read past the bip_vec[] flex array. On READ the read is in bounds
but lands on a saved user bvec instead of the bounce.
The line was added for split propagation, but bio_integrity_clone()
doesn't copy bip_vcnt and BIP_CLONE_FLAGS excludes BIP_COPY_USER.

No network-facing server path (ksmbd, nfsd, nvmet) calls `bio_integrity_copy_user()`.\nAC:L - An attacker fully controls the conditions needed to hit the copy path and trigger the bad index: misaligned or multi-segment integrity user buffers force `copy=true`, multi-page scatter yields `nr_bvecs\u003e1`, and concurrent O_DIRECT integrity writes to the same queue trigger `integrity_req_gap_*_merge()` that dereferences the corrupted `bip_vcnt`.\nPR:L - No kernel capabilities or init-namespace root are required beyond permission to open and perform O_DIRECT I/O on an integrity-enabled block device (`/dev/nvme*`, SCSI DIF disk); io_uring and NVMe ioctls are available to any local user granted device access (e.g., disk group, container volume mounts on storage nodes).\nUI:N - Exploitation is self-initiated by the attacker issuing crafted integrity I/O; no victim interaction such as mounting a filesystem or opening a file is required.\nS:U - Impact is confined to kernel memory safety within the block-integrity path on the host; it does not cross a VM, IOMMU, or sandbox security boundary.\nC:H - On WRITE, `bip_vcnt` is incorrectly set to `nr_vecs` while `bip_max_vcnt` is 1, so `integrity_req_gap_back_merge()`/`integrity_req_gap_front_merge()` in `block/blk.h` index `bip_vec[bip_vcnt-1]` past the single-slot kmalloc flex array, causing an out-of-bounds read of adjacent kernel heap memory that can disclose kernel pointers and other sensitive data.\nI:H - The corrupted `bip_vcnt` breaks integrity metadata bookkeeping during bio/request merging; on READ it causes gap-merge logic to consult saved user bvecs instead of the kernel bounce buffer, and the heap OOB read corrupts kernel memory-safety invariants in ways that can be chained toward further memory corruption or control-flow manipulation.\nA:H - With large `nr_bvecs` (up to `BIO_MAX_VECS`), the out-of-bounds `bip_vec` access can extend far beyond the kmalloc object boundary and provoke a kernel oops/page fault during merge processing; even without full exploitation, the integrity path malfunction can destabilize the I/O stack."

Title
smb: client: fix double-free in SMB2_flush() replay
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: fix double-free in SMB2_flush() replay
SMB2_flush() keeps its response buffer bookkeeping across replay
attempts. If a replayable flush response is received and the retry then
fails before cifs_send_recv() stores a replacement response, flush_exit
will free the stale response pointer a second time.
Reinitialize resp_buftype and rsp_iov at the top of the replay loop so
cleanup only acts on response state produced by the current attempt.
This fixes a double-free without changing replay handling for successful
requests.

Title
sctp: don't free the ASCONF's own transport in DEL-IP processing
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
sctp: don't free the ASCONF's own transport in DEL-IP processing
sctp_process_asconf() caches the transport the ASCONF chunk is processed
against in asconf->transport (== chunk->transport, set once in sctp_rcv()).
For an ASCONF located through its Address Parameter by
__sctp_rcv_asconf_lookup(), that cached transport corresponds to the
Address Parameter, which need not be the packet's source address.
sctp_process_asconf_param() rejects a DEL-IP for the packet source address
(ADDIP D8, SCTP_ERROR_DEL_SRC_IP), but nothing protects asconf->transport.
A single ASCONF can therefore carry, in order:
[Address Parameter L] [DEL-IP L] [DEL-IP 0.0.0.0]
where L differs from the source. The DEL-IP for L passes the D8 check and
calls sctp_assoc_rm_peer() on the transport that asconf->transport still
points at, freeing it (RCU-deferred). The following wildcard DEL-IP then
reuses the now-dangling asconf->transport in sctp_assoc_set_primary() and
sctp_assoc_del_nonprimary_peers(): set_primary() dereferences the freed
transport (->ipaddr, ->state) and plants the dangling pointer into
asoc->peer.primary_path / active_path, and del_nonprimary_peers(), keeping
only the pointer that is no longer on the list, removes every real
transport, leaving the association with a transport_count of 0 and
primary_path/active_path pointing at freed memory.
Reject a DEL-IP that targets the transport the ASCONF is being processed
against, mirroring the existing source-address guard, so the wildcard
branch can never reuse a freed transport.

Title
ALSA: timer: drain a slave's callback before its master detaches it
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: timer: drain a slave's callback before its master detaches it
snd_timer_close_locked() drains the closing instance's own in-flight
callback (IFLG_CALLBACK) before freeing it, but not its slaves'. When a
master instance is closed, remove_slave_links() clears each slave's
->timer; the slave's own close then reads timer == NULL and takes the
branch that skips the drain entirely (snd_timer_stop_slave() also no-ops
on a NULL timer). So a slave whose callback is still running when the
master is closed is freed underneath the live callback, leading to
use-after-free.
Drain the slaves too before remove_slave_links() severs them.
snd_timer_stop() has already taken this instance off the active list, so
no new slave callback can be queued. Take the slaves off the ack list so
a pending one can't fire either, then wait for any that is already in
flight.

Title
selinux: check connect-related permissions on TCP Fast Open
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
selinux: check connect-related permissions on TCP Fast Open
Similar to Landlock, SELinux was not updated when TCP Fast Open
support was introduced to ensure connect-related permissions are
checked when using TCP Fast Open. Update its socket_sendmsg() hook to
call selinux_socket_connect() when MSG_FASTOPEN is passed.

netfilter: nf_conntrack_sip: widen NAT rewrite delta to s32 in sip_help_tcp()
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nf_conntrack_sip: widen NAT rewrite delta to s32 in sip_help_tcp()
sip_help_tcp() stores the size change of each NAT-rewritten SIP message
in s16 diff and accumulates it in s16 tdiff, but a single message can
grow by more than S16_MAX while the packet stays under the 65535
enlarge_skb() limit: nf_nat_sip() rewrites every matching URI, and a long
Contact list expands the message by tens of kilobytes. diff then wraps,
and "datalen = datalen + diff - msglen" yields a huge unsigned datalen,
so the next iteration's ct_sip_get_header() reads past the linearized skb
tail.
Widen diff, tdiff and the seq_adjust hook to s32. Both are bounded by the
65535 byte packet limit, and the seqadj core is already s32
(nf_ct_seqadj_set() takes s32), so no previously accepted input is
rejected.

"value": "AV:N - Remote attackers trigger sip_help_tcp() by sending crafted TCP SIP traffic that traverses netfilter nf_confirm() on POST_ROUTING/LOCAL_IN during packet receive/forward (ipv6_rcv\u2192ip6_forward\u2192ip6_output\u2192nf_hook_slow), the standard path for network-facing SIP ALG/NAT gateways.\nAC:L - Once nf_conntrack_sip and nf_nat_sip are active on a NATed SIP flow, the attacker fully controls the TCP SIP payload (Contact list length and private URIs) to force \u003e32KB NAT expansion and deterministic s16 wrap; no race or external timing is required.\nPR:N - Exploitation requires no privileges on the victim kernel; a remote SIP peer only needs to deliver malicious TCP SIP packets through an already-configured SIP conntrack/NAT helper, with no authentication or local access to the target system.\nUI:N - No victim user interaction is required beyond normal automated packet processing; the helper parses and NAT-rewrites attacker-supplied SIP data in softirq during connection tracking confirmation without any user action.\nS:U - Impact is confined to kernel netfilter/conntrack memory on the same security authority (e.g., a NAT firewall or router). This is not a VM escape, sandbox breakout, or cross-tenant boundary violation.\nC:H - Integer overflow yields a huge unsigned datalen, causing ct_sip_get_header() to read past the linearized skb tail; KASAN reports a use-after-free read, and this out-of-bounds/UAF access can disclose adjacent kernel heap memory beyond the packet buffer.\nI:H - Although the immediate fault is a read past skb bounds, KASAN-classified UAF/out-of-bounds kernel heap corruption is exploitable with heap grooming for control of freed/reallocated objects, enabling arbitrary write and potential code execution in kernel context.\nA:H - The corrupted datalen drives out-of-bounds access in softirq packet processing (ksoftirqd), which can cause kernel oops/panic and denial of service on the NAT/firewall handling the SIP flow; the bug is reliably triggerable with crafted packets."
