Details

GStreamer is a streaming media framework, based on graphs of filters which operate on media data. Applications using this library can do anything from real-time sound processing to playing videos, and just about anything else media-related. Its plugin-based architecture means that new data types or processing capabilities can be added simply by installing new plugins.

Security Fix(es):

A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in GStreamer up to 1.26.1 (Multimedia Processing Software).CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-200. The product exposes sensitive information to an actor that is not explicitly authorized to have access to that information.This is going to have an impact on confidentiality.There is no information about possible countermeasures known.
