Vulnerability from variot - Updated: 2024-11-23 20:11In iOS before 9.3.3, a memory corruption issue existed in the kernel. This issue was addressed through improved memory handling. Apple iOS is an operating system developed by Apple (Apple) for mobile devices. GasGauge is one of the battery fuel gauge components. A security vulnerability exists in the GasGauge component of Apple iOS prior to 9.3.3. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability with a malicious application to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges (kernel corruption)
