Vulnerability from variot - Updated: 2025-04-13 23:22The IPC channel in Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client 2.0.0343 through 4.1(8) allows local users to bypass intended access restrictions and move arbitrary files by leveraging the lack of source-path validation, aka Bug ID CSCuv48563. A local attacker may exploit this issue to gain elevated system privileges on the device. This issue is being tracked by Cisco Bug ID CSCuv48563. The vulnerability is caused by the fact that the program does not verify the source path in the IPC command
