SSA-000297: Multiple SQLite Vulnerabilities in RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW Station Access Controller Before V5.6
Notes
Summary: RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW Station Access Controller (SAC) contains multiple vulnerabilities in the integrated SQLite component that could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code or to create a denial of service condition.
Siemens has released a new version for RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW Station Access Controller (SAC) and recommends to update to the latest version.
General Recommendations: As a general security measure, Siemens strongly recommends to protect network access to devices with appropriate mechanisms. In order to operate the devices in a protected IT environment, Siemens recommends to configure the environment according to Siemens' operational guidelines for Industrial Security (Download:
https://www.siemens.com/cert/operational-guidelines-industrial-security), and to follow the recommendations in the product manuals.
