Details
This is c-ares, an asynchronous resolver library. It is intended for applications which need to perform DNS queries without blocking, or need to perform multiple.
Security Fix(es):
Missing input validation of host names returned by Domain Name Servers in the c-ares library can lead to output of wrong hostnames (leading to Domain Hijacking).(CVE-2021-3672)
