Feiten: Fortinet heeft een kwetsbaarheid verholpen in FortiAuthenticator.
Interpretaties: De kwetsbaarheid betreft een onjuiste access control in FortiAuthenticator, waardoor een aanvaller ongeautoriseerde code of commando's kan uitvoeren. Dit ontstaat door onvoldoende beperkingen in de toegangscontrole binnen de software. Een aanvaller kan hierdoor verhoogde privileges verkrijgen en willekeurige acties op het systeem uitvoeren.
