GSD-2017-6520

Vulnerability from gsd - Updated: 2023-12-13 01:21
Details
The Multicast DNS (mDNS) responder used in BOSE Soundtouch 30 inadvertently responds to IPv4 unicast queries with source addresses that are not link-local, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (traffic amplification) or obtain potentially sensitive information via port-5353 UDP packets.

Drag nodes to arrange them. Double-click a related vulnerability to open it, or a source to visit its link. The Physics button on the left tunes the layout and the simulation; the legend at the bottom left hides or shows nodes by kind and by sighting type.

Forecast uses a logistic model when the trend is rising, or an exponential decay model when the trend is falling. Fitted via linearized least squares.
