Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mlxsw: spectrum_acl_tcam: Fix stack corruption
When tc filters are first added to a net device, the corresponding local
port gets bound to an ACL group in the device. The group contains a list
of ACLs. In turn, each ACL points to a different TCAM region where the
filters are stored. During forwarding, the ACLs are sequentially
evaluated until a match is found.
One reason to place filters in different regions is when they are added
with decreasing priorities and in an alternating order so that two
consecutive filters can never fit in the same region because of their
key usage.
In Spectrum-2 and newer ASICs the firmware started to report that the
maximum number of ACLs in a group is more than 16, but the layout of the
register that configures ACL groups (PAGT) was not updated to account
for that. It is therefore possible to hit stack corruption [1] in the
rare case where more than 16 ACLs in a group are required.
Fix by limiting the maximum ACL group size to the minimum between what
the firmware reports and the maximum ACLs that fit in the PAGT register.
Add a test case to make sure the machine does not crash when this
condition is hit.

"value": "In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:\n\nmlxsw: spectrum_acl_tcam: Fix stack corruption\n\nWhen tc filters are first added to a net device, the corresponding local\nport gets bound to an ACL group in the device. The group contains a list\nof ACLs. In turn, each ACL points to a different TCAM region where the\nfilters are stored. During forwarding, the ACLs are sequentially\nevaluated until a match is found.\n\nOne reason to place filters in different regions is when they are added\nwith decreasing priorities and in an alternating order so that two\nconsecutive filters can never fit in the same region because of their\nkey usage.\n\nIn Spectrum-2 and newer ASICs the firmware started to report that the\nmaximum number of ACLs in a group is more than 16, but the layout of the\nregister that configures ACL groups (PAGT) was not updated to account\nfor that. No hypervisor, IOMMU, or sandbox boundary is crossed.\nC:H - Each out-of-bounds iteration read-modify-writes stack memory beyond the 112-byte `pagt_pl` buffer, and the resulting corruption of saved registers and the return address is the kind of memory corruption that can be steered toward disclosing kernel memory. Per the higher-severity rule for out-of-bounds writes on the kernel stack, this is scored High.\nI:H - This is an out-of-bounds write that walks linearly past the end of a fixed 112-byte stack buffer, overwriting the stack canary, saved registers, and return address with values partially controlled by the attacker (region IDs and the `multi` bit). Out-of-bounds writes into a kernel stack frame are treated as High integrity impact.\nA:H - The documented and reproducible outcome is `Kernel panic - not syncing: stack-protector: Kernel stack is corrupted`, an unconditional panic that takes down the entire switch. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mlxsw: spectrum_acl_tcam: Fix NULL pointer dereference in error path
When calling mlxsw_sp_acl_tcam_region_destroy() from an error path after
failing to attach the region to an ACL group, we hit a NULL pointer
dereference upon 'region->group->tcam' [1].
Fix by retrieving the 'tcam' pointer using mlxsw_sp_acl_to_tcam().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nbd: always initialize struct msghdr completely
syzbot complains that msg->msg_get_inq value can be uninitialized [1]
struct msghdr got many new fields recently, we should always make
sure their values is zero by default.

Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tcp: add sanity checks to rx zerocopy
TCP rx zerocopy intent is to map pages initially allocated
from NIC drivers, not pages owned by a fs.
This patch adds to can_map_frag() these additional checks:
- Page must not be a compound one.
- page->mapping must be NULL.
This fixes the panic reported by ZhangPeng.
syzbot was able to loopback packets built with sendfile(),
mapping pages owned by an ext4 file to TCP rx zerocopy.

Running the following two commands in parallel on a multi-processor
AArch64 machine can sporadically produce an unexpected warning about
duplicate histogram entries:

The problem appears to be caused by CPU reordering of writes issued from
__tracing_map_insert().
The check for the presence of an element with a given key in this
function is:
val = READ_ONCE(entry->val);
if (val && keys_match(key, val->key, map->key_size)) ...
The write of a new entry is:
elt = get_free_elt(map);
memcpy(elt->key, key, map->key_size);
entry->val = elt;
The "memcpy(elt->key, key, map->key_size);" and "entry->val = elt;"

No administrator or user action is needed once the standard bridged-tunnel configuration is in place.\nS:U - The out-of-bounds read and its consequences are confined to the host kernel that contains the defective checksum call. The vulnerable and impacted components are the same security authority; no VM, IOMMU, or sandbox boundary is crossed.\nC:H - csum_partial() reads a fixed 1240 bytes from a linear buffer that may hold only tens of bytes, overreading up to roughly a kilobyte of adjacent kernel slab memory \u2014 far beyond a \"few bytes.\" Worse, the folded result is placed in the ICMPv6 checksum field and transmitted back to the attacker, yielding a repeatable oracle over kernel heap contents that heap grooming can turn into a real disclosure.\nI:N - The defect is a read-only overrun; no kernel memory is written, no bounds are exceeded on a store, and there is no type confusion or control-flow influence. The only consequence for state is an incorrect checksum on an outgoing packet, which the receiver discards.\nA:H - Reading up to ~1KB past the end of a slab allocation can walk off the backing pages into unmapped memory, faulting in softirq context and oopsing the kernel. On KASAN or panic_on_oops/hardened kernels the access panics the machine outright, and the attacker can repeat it at will with a stream of oversized packets."

arp: Prevent overflow in arp_req_get().
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
arp: Prevent overflow in arp_req_get().
syzkaller reported an overflown write in arp_req_get(). [0]
When ioctl(SIOCGARP) is issued, arp_req_get() looks up an neighbour
entry and copies neigh->ha to struct arpreq.arp_ha.sa_data.
The arp_ha here is struct sockaddr, not struct sockaddr_storage, so
the sa_data buffer is just 14 bytes.
In the splat below, 2 bytes are overflown to the next int field,
arp_flags. We initialise the field just after the memcpy(), so it's
not a problem.
However, when dev->addr_len is greater than 22 (e.g. MAX_ADDR_LEN),
arp_netmask is overwritten, which could be set as htonl(0xFFFFFFFFUL)
in arp_ioctl() before calling arp_req_get().
To avoid the overflow, let's limit the max length of memcpy().
Note that commit b5f0de6df6dc ("net: dev: Convert sa_data to flexible
array in struct sockaddr") just silenced syzkaller.

stmmac: Clear variable when destroying workqueue
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
stmmac: Clear variable when destroying workqueue
Currently when suspending driver and stopping workqueue it is checked whether
workqueue is not NULL and if so, it is destroyed.
Function destroy_workqueue() does drain queue and does clear variable, but
it does not set workqueue variable to NULL. This can cause kernel/module
panic if code attempts to clear workqueue that was not initialized.
This scenario is possible when resuming suspended driver in stmmac_resume(),
because there is no handling for failed stmmac_hw_setup(),
which can fail and return if DMA engine has failed to initialize,
and workqueue is initialized after DMA engine.
Should DMA engine fail to initialize, resume will proceed normally,
but interface won't work and TX queue will eventually timeout,
causing 'Reset adapter' error.
This then does destroy workqueue during reset process.
And since workqueue is initialized after DMA engine and can be skipped,
it will cause kernel/module panic.
To secure against this possible crash, set workqueue variable to NULL when
destroying workqueue.
