Title
wifi: iwlwifi: fix a memory corruption
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: iwlwifi: fix a memory corruption
iwl_fw_ini_trigger_tlv::data is a pointer to a __le32, which means that
if we copy to iwl_fw_ini_trigger_tlv::data + offset while offset is in
bytes, we'll write past the buffer.

Reaching the vulnerable merge requires local presence on the system (module/firmware load or the debugfs time-point/clear handlers), so this is Local rather than Adjacent.
AC:L - The out-of-bounds write is fully deterministic — whenever two triggers share a time point and the newer one lacks IWL_FW_INI_APPLY_POLICY_OVERRIDE_DATA with non-empty existing data, the byte offset is unconditionally multiplied by four. There is no race, no memory-layout precondition, and INI debug is enabled by default, so no unusual configuration is needed.
PR:L - Triggering requires only local access to the code path that (re)initializes the iwlwifi firmware debug configuration, with no authentication step in the path itself and no capability check inside iwl_dbg_tlv_override_trig_node. Between low and high privileges this is scored as the higher-severity Low, consistent with other locally-triggered iwlwifi memory-corruption CVEs.
UI:N - No victim action is required — the trigger list is merged automatically at IWL_FW_INI_TIME_POINT_EARLY during normal firmware load, which occurs at boot or whenever the device is brought up.
S:U - The overflow corrupts kernel slab memory and its impact is confined to the kernel's own security authority; no VM, IOMMU, or sandbox boundary is crossed.
C:H - The heap overflow writes past the krealloc'd node into adjacent slab objects, corrupting neighbouring kernel structures such as pointers and length fields, which can be leveraged into an arbitrary kernel read primitive and disclosure of arbitrary memory.
I:H - This is an out-of-bounds heap write of attacker-influenced content whose length (roughly 3 x data_len) and payload both come from the trigger TLV, giving a shaped write into adjacent slab objects — the standard primitive for kernel data/control-flow corruption and privilege escalation.
A:H - Slab corruption of adjacent objects reliably produces kernel oopses, allocator BUG_ON/hardened-usercopy panics, or later crashes on freeing the smashed neighbours, resulting in a complete denial of service."

Title
tomoyo: fix UAF write bug in tomoyo_write_control()
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tomoyo: fix UAF write bug in tomoyo_write_control()
Since tomoyo_write_control() updates head->write_buf when write()
of long lines is requested, we need to fetch head->write_buf after
head->io_sem is held. Otherwise, concurrent write() requests can
cause use-after-free-write and double-free problems.

Title
IB/hfi1: Fix sdma.h tx->num_descs off-by-one error
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
IB/hfi1: Fix sdma.h tx->num_descs off-by-one error
Unfortunately the commit `fd8958efe877` introduced another error
causing the `descs` array to overflow. This reults in further crashes
easily reproducible by `sendmsg` system call.

If an SDMA send consists of exactly 6 descriptors and requires dword
padding (in the 7th descriptor), the sdma_txreq descriptor array is not
properly expanded and the packet will overflow into the container
structure. This results in a panic when the send completion runs. The
exact panic varies depending on what elements of the container structure
get corrupted. The fix is to use the correct expression in
_pad_sdma_tx_descs() to test the need to expand the descriptor array.
With this patch the crashes are no longer reproducible and the machine is
stable.
AV:L - The overflow is driven entirely by the local sender's skb layout (number of page frags and total length), reached via an ordinary `sendmsg`/`writev` syscall on a socket routed over the hfi1 IPoIB netdev, as the reporter's `__sys_sendmsg` → `ipoib_start_xmit` → `hfi1_ipoib_send` trace shows. A remote peer cannot dictate the local skb fragment layout, so this is a local syscall vector, not network.
AC:L - There is no race and no memory-layout dependency: the attacker deterministically chooses 4 page fragments plus a payload length not divisible by 4, which makes `num_desc` equal `desc_limit` exactly when padding is appended. Every attempt with that shape overflows `descs[6]`.
PR:L - Any unprivileged local account can send datagrams out an IPoIB interface; no capability, no `/dev/infiniband` or `/dev/hfi1` access, and no namespace trickery is required. The `hfi1_ipoib_send` path is reached from the generic `dev_hard_start_xmit` transmit path available to all users.
UI:N - The attacker's own `sendmsg` call triggers the overflow and the subsequent completion/reuse of the corrupted txreq; no administrator or victim action is involved.
S:U - The out-of-bounds write stays within kernel memory managed by the same kernel security authority; no VM, IOMMU, or sandbox boundary is crossed.
C:H - The overflow clobbers `ipoib_txreq.sdma_hdr`, a pointer that is later handed to `sdma_txadd_kvaddr()`/`dma_map_single()` as the packet-header DMA source, so corrupted-pointer contents can be DMA'd onto the fabric; more generally an attacker-triggered out-of-bounds write over adjacent pointer fields is memory corruption leverageable for disclosure.
I:H - This is a straight out-of-bounds write of a 32-byte descriptor past `descs[NUM_DESC]` into the container structure, overwriting `sdma_hdr`, `priv` and `txq` (and `qp`/`wqe`/`ss` or a `list_head` in the verbs and user_sdma containers), which then serve as write targets and list-manipulation operands.
A:H - The reporter reproduced an immediate general protection fault in `hfi1_ipoib_build_ib_tx_headers()` from the corrupted `sdma_hdr`, and the NULLed `txq`/`priv` guarantee a NULL dereference in the completion path — a repeatable kernel panic from an unprivileged syscall."

Title
cifs: fix underflow in parse_server_interfaces()
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
cifs: fix underflow in parse_server_interfaces()
In this loop, we step through the buffer and after each item we check
if the size_left is greater than the minimum size we need. However,
the problem is that "bytes_left" is type ssize_t while sizeof() is type
size_t. That means that because of type promotion, the comparison is
done as an unsigned and if we have negative bytes left the loop
continues instead of ending.

No local access to the victim is required.
AC:L - The server controls both the response length and every `Next` field, so making `bytes_left` underflow is a single deterministic value choice (e.g. buf_len=152, Next=160) with no race, timing, or memory-layout condition outside the attacker's control.
PR:N - The attacker is the server side of the connection and needs no credentials or privileges on the victim host; it simply answers the client's own FSCTL_QUERY_NETWORK_INTERFACE_INFO request with a crafted reply.
UI:N - Beyond the mount path, `smb2_query_server_interfaces()` re-issues the query from a self-re-arming cifsiod delayed work every 600 seconds, and `smb2_reconnect()` issues it on every tcon reconnect, so an already-mounted share is attacked with zero user action.
S:U - The out-of-bounds read and the resulting crash are entirely within the kernel's own security authority; no VM, IOMMU, or sandbox boundary is crossed.
C:H - The loop walks arbitrary kernel memory at an attacker-chosen stride and stores the OOB bytes as interface speeds and IPv4/IPv6 addresses in `ses->iface_list`, which is printed verbatim to world-readable `/proc/fs/cifs/DebugData` and used as multichannel connect targets — an unbounded, repeatable kernel heap disclosure primitive.
I:L - There is no out-of-bounds write, but garbage harvested from unrelated kernel heap memory is installed as the session's authoritative interface list and drives which addresses the client opens additional SMB channels to, a limited unauthorized modification of client connection state.
A:H - With `Next` up to 4 GiB the pointer walk dereferences unmapped memory and oopses the kernel, and the loop can only exit when an OOB `Next` is zero, additionally causing unbounded `iface_list`/`iface_count` growth from a workqueue context."

Title
net/ipv6: avoid possible UAF in ip6_route_mpath_notify()
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/ipv6: avoid possible UAF in ip6_route_mpath_notify()
syzbot found another use-after-free in ip6_route_mpath_notify() [1]
Commit f7225172f25a ("net/ipv6: prevent use after free in
ip6_route_mpath_notify") was not able to fix the root cause.
We need to defer the fib6_info_release() calls after
ip6_route_mpath_notify(), in the cleanup phase.

There is no remote packet-processing path into ip6_route_multipath_add().
AC:L - The attacker creates both sides of the condition: they drop the last reference themselves and can widen the window arbitrarily by supplying many nexthops, by setting RTA_EXPIRES=0 so the non-rtnl gc softirq reaps the route, and by lowering net.ipv6.route.gc_interval inside their own netns, with unlimited retries. syzbot reproduced it, confirming reliable triggerability.
PR:L - rtnetlink_rcv_msg() only requires netlink_net_capable(skb, CAP_NET_ADMIN), which is evaluated against the network namespace's user namespace, so any unprivileged local user obtains it with `unshare -Urn`. Multipath ECMP routes are addable in that namespace using RTNH_F_ONLINK gateways, which bypasses gateway reachability validation.
UI:N - The entire sequence is performed by the attacker's own process in a single netlink transaction; no victim action, mount, or other interaction is needed.
S:U - The use-after-free corrupts kernel heap memory and is exploited within the same kernel security authority; no VM, IOMMU, or hypervisor boundary is crossed.
C:H - rt6_fill_node() reads the freed kmalloc-512 fib6_info and copies its contents into an RTM_NEWROUTE netlink message returned to the attacker's socket, including dereferencing pointers taken from freed memory such as rt->fib6_metrics (passed to rtnetlink_put_metrics()), rt->fib6_table, and rt->fib6_nh. Reclaiming the freed slot with controlled data turns this into an arbitrary kernel-memory read leaked directly to userspace.
I:H - This is a use-after-free on a 512-byte kmalloc object that an unprivileged attacker can spray and reclaim, after which the kernel dereferences attacker-controlled pointers and performs a list_for_each_entry_safe() walk over the freed fib6_siblings list head. That yields controlled pointer traversal and corruption suitable for privilege escalation.
A:H - The KASAN slab-use-after-free in rt6_fill_node() causes an oops/panic when the freed object is unmapped, poisoned, or reclaimed with invalid pointers, and it can be triggered repeatedly to reliably crash the kernel."

Title
af_unix: Fix garbage collector racing against connect()
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
af_unix: Fix garbage collector racing against connect()
Garbage collector does not take into account the risk of embryo getting
enqueued during the garbage collection. If such embryo has a peer that
carries SCM_RIGHTS, two consecutive passes of scan_children() may see a
different set of children. Leading to an incorrectly elevated inflight
count, and then a dangling pointer within the gc_inflight_list.
sockets are AF_UNIX/SOCK_STREAM
S is an unconnected socket
L is a listening in-flight socket bound to addr, not in fdtable
V's fd will be passed via sendmsg(), gets inflight count bumped
connect(S, addr) sendmsg(S, [V]); close(V) __unix_gc()
---------------- ------------------------- -----------
NS = unix_create1()
skb1 = sock_wmalloc(NS)
L = unix_find_other(addr)
unix_state_lock(L)
unix_peer(S) = NS
// V count=1 inflight=0
NS = unix_peer(S)
skb2 = sock_alloc()
skb_queue_tail(NS, skb2[V])
// V became in-flight
// V count=2 inflight=1
close(V)
// V count=1 inflight=1
// GC candidate condition met
for u in gc_inflight_list:
if (total_refs == inflight_refs)
add u to gc_candidates
// gc_candidates={L, V}
for u in gc_candidates:
scan_children(u, dec_inflight)
// embryo (skb1) was not
// reachable from L yet, so V's
// inflight remains unchanged
__skb_queue_tail(L, skb1)
unix_state_unlock(L)
for u in gc_candidates:
if (u.inflight)
scan_children(u, inc_inflight_move_tail)
// V count=1 inflight=2 (!)
If there is a GC-candidate listening socket, lock/unlock its state. This
makes GC wait until the end of any ongoing connect() to that socket. After
flipping the lock, a possibly SCM-laden embryo is already enqueued. And if
there is another embryo coming, it can not possibly carry SCM_RIGHTS. At
this point, unix_inflight() can not happen because unix_gc_lock is already
taken. Inflight graph remains unaffected.

scsi: qla2xxx: Fix double free of the ha->vp_map pointer
Coverity scan reported potential risk of double free of the pointer
ha->vp_map. ha->vp_map was freed in qla2x00_mem_alloc(), and again freed
in function qla2x00_mem_free(ha).
Assign NULL to vp_map and kfree take care of NULL.

Title
Bluetooth: Fix use-after-free bugs caused by sco_sock_timeout
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: Fix use-after-free bugs caused by sco_sock_timeout
When the sco connection is established and then, the sco socket
is releasing, timeout_work will be scheduled to judge whether
the sco disconnection is timeout. The sock will be deallocated
later, but it is dereferenced again in sco_sock_timeout. As a
result, the use-after-free bugs will happen. The root cause is
shown below:
Cleanup Thread | Worker Thread
sco_sock_release |
sco_sock_close |
__sco_sock_close |
sco_sock_set_timer |
schedule_delayed_work |
sco_sock_kill | (wait a time)
sock_put(sk) //FREE | sco_sock_timeout
| sock_hold(sk) //USE
The KASAN report triggered by POC is shown below:

Title
drm/amdgpu: amdgpu_ttm_gart_bind set gtt bound flag
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu: amdgpu_ttm_gart_bind set gtt bound flag
Otherwise after the GTT bo is released, the GTT and gart space is freed
but amdgpu_ttm_backend_unbind will not clear the gart page table entry
and leave valid mapping entry pointing to the stale system page. Then
if GPU access the gart address mistakely, it will read undefined value
instead page fault, harder to debug and reproduce the real issue.

No network or adjacent-network reachability exists.
AC:L - Triggering is a deterministic, race-free ioctl sequence — create a GTT BO, submit it as the CS user-fence BO, then release it — repeatable in a loop on any default amdgpu configuration. No conditions outside the attacker's control are involved.
PR:L - Both required ioctls are `DRM_RENDER_ALLOW`, so any unprivileged user able to open the render node (standard for desktop sessions, `render`-group members, and GPU-enabled containers) can reach the code with no capabilities and without DRM master.
UI:N - The attacking process performs the entire allocate/submit/free sequence itself; no victim action or interaction is needed.
S:U - The stale mappings live in the GPU's own GART remap table and the affected resource is host kernel memory managed by the same kernel security authority. No VM, IOMMU, or sandbox boundary is crossed.
C:H - The GART retains valid entries to system pages that have been freed and recycled for arbitrary kernel and user data, so GPU reads of that aperture return reclaimed memory contents instead of faulting — a use-after-free class disclosure primitive into attacker-visible GPU buffers.
I:H - The same stale entries are writable by the GPU, giving DMA writes into pages the kernel has reallocated for other purposes (kernel objects, page tables, other processes' data), which is arbitrary memory corruption bypassing CPU MMU protection.
A:H - GPU DMA into reclaimed kernel pages corrupts live kernel structures leading to oops/panic, and on IOMMU-enabled systems the torn-down DMA mappings produce IO_PAGE_FAULT storms, GPU hangs, and device resets.
AV:N - The vulnerable list walk is entered directly from data supplied by the remote SMB server — `mark_for_reconnect_if_needed()` fires when the server's DFS referral targets change, and `tree_connect_dfs_target()` fires from `smb2_reconnect()` when server-driven tree connects fail with a changed `leaf_fullpath`. The same remote peer also controls the width of the race window by stalling its SMB2 LOGOFF/TREE_DISCONNECT reply.
AC:L - The attacker drives both sides of the race: the SES_EXITING-while-still-linked window spans blocking SMB round-trips that a malicious server can hold open until the SMB timeout, while referral churn or repeated forced reconnects re-enter the walk at unbounded rate. No condition depends on state outside the attacker's influence.
PR:N - A malicious or compromised SMB server holds no privilege on the victim client — the client authenticates to the server, not the reverse — so no credentials on the vulnerable component are needed. The alternate local path via `CIFS_GENL_CMD_SWN_NOTIFY` also carries no `GENL_ADMIN_PERM` and is usable by any unprivileged user.
UI:N - On an already-mounted enterprise SMB share (the normal automounted/persistent case), the DFS refresh worker and reconnect paths run on their own and session teardowns occur automatically via `cifs_prune_tlinks` and DFS failover. No victim action is required at exploitation time.
S:U - The use-after-free corrupts kernel heap memory within the same kernel security authority; no VM, IOMMU, or sandbox boundary is crossed.
C:H - The walk reads `ses->chan_count` and `ses->chans[i].server` plus `server->tcpStatus` out of a freed/reallocated `cifs_ses`, and a use-after-free on this object gives control over freed-slab contents, which is leverageable into an arbitrary kernel read primitive against `cifs_ses` state including session and encryption keys.
I:H - The walk writes into the stale objects — acquiring `ses->chan_lock` and `ses->chans[i].server->srv_lock`, then storing `CifsNeedReconnect` into `tcpStatus`. Since the teardown path NULLs `chans[i].server` without `chan_lock` and never lowers `chan_count`, a sprayed replacement object yields a spinlock acquire plus a store at an attacker-chosen address, i.e. a write primitive usable for control-flow hijack.
A:H - Dereferencing a freed `TCP_Server_Info` and taking `srv_lock` on reclaimed memory reliably produces slab corruption, a spinlock lockup, or an oops/panic, and the trigger can be repeated indefinitely by the remote server."
