During installation or import, package silently adds a new authorized SSH key. It's closely related to the 2026-05-ninja-core-utils campaign, but there is no built-in crypto exfiltration.

Category: MALICIOUS - The campaign has clearly malicious intent, like infostealers.

Campaign: 2026-05-ninja-ssh-proto

Reasons (based on the campaign):

  • backdoor

  • obfuscation

Related by attack behaviour

Vulnerabilities whose description is nearest to this one in the vector space of the CIRCL/vulnerability-attack-technique-biencoder model. This is a similarity search over the bi-encoder space (plain cosine), not a classification, and it has no measured accuracy.
