GHSA-VP96-HXJ8-P424
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2026-03-16 15:15 – Updated: 2026-03-19 18:28If a user provided callback to set_tlsext_servername_callback raised an unhandled exception, this would result in a connection being accepted. If a user was relying on this callback for any security-sensitive behavior, this could allow bypassing it.
Unhandled exceptions now result in rejecting the connection.

BREW-SCOUTSUITE-CVE-2026-27448 (GHSA-VP96-HXJ8-P424)
Vulnerability from osv_homebrew – Published: 2026-08-13 17:34 – Updated: 2026-09-17 19:22 – Source websiteIf a user provided callback to set_tlsext_servername_callback raised an unhandled exception, this would result in a connection being accepted. If a user was relying on this callback for any security-sensitive behavior, this could allow bypassing it.
Unhandled exceptions now result in rejecting the connection.

Vulnerabilities whose description is nearest to this one in the vector space of the CIRCL/vulnerability-attack-technique-biencoder model. This is a similarity search over the bi-encoder space (plain cosine), not a classification, and it has no measured accuracy.
