"value": "AV:L - Exploitation requires opening the AtomISP V4L2 video device node and issuing the private ATOMISP_IOC_S_ISP_FPN_TABLE ioctl; the vulnerable path is not reachable via network packets or adjacent-network protocols.\nAC:L - An attacker who can open the device fully controls the v4l2_framebuffer width/height/bytesperline values that overflow the allocation and can reliably set up a CSS stream first, so no conditions outside the attacker\u2019s control are required.\nPR:L - Access only requires opening /dev/video* (typically video-group or camera-permission access); atomisp_open and the FPN ioctl path perform no CAP_SYS_ADMIN or root checks.\nUI:N - The attacker triggers the bug directly via ioctl with crafted framebuffer dimensions; no action by another user is required.\nS:U - The impact is kernel memory corruption within the host kernel\u2019s security authority (local privilege escalation / DoS), not a VM, IOMMU, or other cross-boundary escape.\nC:H - The overflow yields a heap out-of-bounds write of attacker-supplied frame data into the undersized fpn_config buffer, which can be leveraged for arbitrary kernel memory disclosure.\nI:H - The nested height/width loops write past the undersized kvmalloc buffer with attacker-controlled contents, enabling heap corruption suitable for control-flow hijacking or arbitrary write primitives.\nA:H - The same out-of-bounds heap writes reliably cause kernel oops/panic, and a NULL stream also yields an immediate kernel crash on dereference."

Drag nodes to arrange them. Double-click a related vulnerability to open it, or a source to visit its link. The Physics button on the left tunes the layout and the simulation; the legend at the bottom left hides or shows nodes by kind and by sighting type.
Experimental. This forecast is provided for visualization only and may change without notice. Do not use it for operational decisions.
Forecast uses a logistic model when the trend is rising, or an exponential decay model when the trend is falling. Fitted via linearized least squares.

The MITRE ATT&CK techniques below are AI-generated suggestions, inferred from the description of the
vulnerability by the CIRCL/vulnerability-attack-technique-classification-roberta-base
model, served locally by ML-Gateway.
They have not been verified by an analyst and are provided for guidance only.
The approach is described in our paper Mapping CVEs to MITRE ATT&CK Techniques: A Curated Gold-Set Classifier and the Limits of LLM-Assisted Label Expansion.

Vulnerabilities whose description is nearest to this one in the vector space of the CIRCL/vulnerability-attack-technique-biencoder model. This is a similarity search over the bi-encoder space (plain cosine), not a classification, and it has no measured accuracy.
