Title
phy: ti: Fix missing sentinel for clk_div_table
Summary
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
phy: ti: Fix missing sentinel for clk_div_table
_get_table_maxdiv() tries to access "clk_div_table" array out of bound
defined in phy-j721e-wiz.c. Add a sentinel entry to prevent
the following global-out-of-bounds error reported by enabling KASAN.

"value": "AV:L - The bug is in the TI J721E WIZ SERDES wrapper clock table and is reached only through local platform driver probe (deferred_probe \u2192 j721e_pcie_probe \u2192 phy_init \u2192 clk_set_rate); it is not reachable via network packets or physical plug-in interfaces.\nAC:L - On affected TI K3/J721E hardware the missing sentinel causes a deterministic out-of-bounds walk of clk_div_table on every clk_set_rate of the dig-div clocks during PHY init, with no race or attacker-uncontrollable memory layout requirement.\nPR:L - The vulnerable path runs automatically during boot/deferred probe (and again on PCIe resume via cdns_pcie_enable_phy), so no elevated capability is required for the defect to manifest; PR:H is not chosen because attacker action or real root is not needed.\nUI:N - Exploitation requires no victim action such as opening a file, mounting a filesystem, or writing a sysfs attribute; probe/resume triggers the OOB read on its own.\nS:U - The out-of-bounds read and any resulting incorrect divider programming stay within the kernel/SoC security authority; there is no VM, IOMMU, or sandbox boundary crossing.\nC:H - This is an unbounded global out-of-bounds read past clk_div_table into adjacent kernel .rodata/.data until a zero div field is found, and those values feed maxdiv used for further rate decisions, so confidentiality impact is High per OOB-read guidance.\nI:L - Corrupted maxdiv can cause incorrect but width-bounded divider values to be programmed via regmap_field_write into SERDES clock registers; that is limited hardware-state modification, not an arbitrary kernel write or control-flow hijack.\nA:H - The defect produces a KASAN global-out-of-bounds condition that panics under panic_on_warn, and a runaway table walk or misprogrammed PHY reference clocks can crash or permanently disrupt PCIe/SERDES bring-up on automotive and industrial J721E platforms."

The MITRE ATT&CK techniques below are AI-generated suggestions, inferred from the description of the
vulnerability by the CIRCL/vulnerability-attack-technique-classification-roberta-base
model, served locally by ML-Gateway.
They have not been verified by an analyst and are provided for guidance only.
The approach is described in our paper Mapping CVEs to MITRE ATT&CK Techniques: A Curated Gold-Set Classifier and the Limits of LLM-Assisted Label Expansion.
