CVE-2017-7263 (GCVE-0-2017-7263)

Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2017-03-26 05:47 – Updated: 2024-08-05 15:56
VLAI
Summary
The bm_readbody_bmp function in bitmap_io.c in Potrace 1.14 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer over-read and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted BMP image. Vulnerabilities whose description is nearest to this one in the vector space of the CIRCL/vulnerability-attack-technique-biencoder model. This is a similarity search over the bi-encoder space (plain cosine), not a classification, and it has no measured accuracy.
