    Title
Security advisory: Pre-authentication RCE (BinaryFormatter deserialization) in Cinegy Cinegize 2026-02-05 installer (Cinegy GmbH)
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in Cinegy Cinegize 2026-02-05 installer (Cinegy GmbH). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication RCE (BinaryFormatter deserialization) (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) Cinegy Cinegize (2026-02-05 installer) registers a Windows service listening on TCP 51140 with a DotNetty pipeline that deserializes .NET BinaryFormatter objects before the authorization handler runs. An unauthenticated remote attacker sends a TypeConfuseDelegate gadget frame; deserialization triggers Process.Start as LocalSystem. No authentication, no license gate, and a default inbound firewall rule make the service reachable in a default install. Dynamically verified. Impact: Full compromise of the broadcast and media-workflow automation host as LocalSystem. The attacker can disrupt broadcast operations, execute arbitrary commands, and access media assets. Advisory: https://0day-rubbish.com/blog/cinegy-cinegize-unauth-binaryformatter-rce PoC and full analysis: https://github.com/Exploit-Garbage/0day-Rubbish Vendor has been notified. CVE ID is pending. -- 0day Rubbish Research Team https://0day-rubbish.com _______________________________________________ Sent through the Full Disclosure mailing list https://nmap.org/mailman/listinfo/fulldisclosure Web Archives & RSS: https://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/

    Title
Security advisory: Pre-authentication RCE (SQL injection) in XPressEntry 3.7.7454 (Telaeris Inc)
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in XPressEntry 3.7.7454 (Telaeris Inc). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication RCE (SQL injection) (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) Telaeris XPressEntry 3.7.7454 runs its main HTTP API without authentication when RequireReaderCredentials is False, which is the default. The SaveVerifyActivity handler concatenates the sNotes parameter into an INSERT statement with no escaping. On a SQL Server backend with a sysadmin application account, an unauthenticated attacker uses a COMMIT-breakout payload to enable xp_cmdshell and execute arbitrary commands as LocalSystem. Dynamically verified. Impact: Full compromise of the physical access-control and emergency-mustering system as LocalSystem. The attacker can alter badge records, forge or block entry events, and take over facility-security infrastructure. Advisory: https://0day-rubbish.com/blog/telaeris-xpressentry-unauth-sqli-xpcmdshell-rce PoC and full analysis: https://github.com/Exploit-Garbage/0day-Rubbish Vendor has been notified. CVE ID is pending. -- 0day Rubbish Research Team https://0day-rubbish.com _______________________________________________ Sent through the Full Disclosure mailing list https://nmap.org/mailman/listinfo/fulldisclosure Web Archives & RSS: https://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/

Security advisory: Pre-authentication RCE in DataStax Enterprise (DSE) 6.8.49 (DataStax)
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in DataStax Enterprise (DSE) 6.8.49 (DataStax). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication RCE (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) DataStax Enterprise (DSE) 6.8.49 runs a Gremlin Server on WebSocket 8182. The default configuration has the gremlin_server authentication section commented out, which means TinkerPop's default allowAll authenticator - no authentication. The gremlin-groovy sandbox is enabled by default, but the sandbox only wraps the top-level submitted script; groovy.lang.Script.evaluate(String) creates a fresh GroovyShell with a default CompilerConfiguration that does not include the SandboxTransformer, so a nested string is compiled and executed sandbox-free. An attacker submits this.evaluate("<nested script>"); the nested script runs ["/bin/sh","-c","<cmd>"].execute().text, executing arbitrary system commands as the dse user. Dynamically verified. Impact: Full read of the host filesystem and configuration as the dse user, arbitrary OS command execution, and full control of the DSE host and database services. Title
Security advisory: Pre-authentication RCE (arbitrary file write) in RapidDeploy 5.2.2 (MidVision)
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in RapidDeploy 5.2.2 (MidVision). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication RCE (arbitrary file write) (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) MidVision RapidDeploy 5.2.2 ships a remote-agent template (midvision-remoting-server.xml) with host=0.0.0.0 and auth.servers commented out, making the JBoss Remoting layer network-reachable with no authentication. The invocation handler accepts any connection and performs arbitrary-path file writes on the target host; writing a cron entry yields root command execution. This is a shipped default-deployment template vulnerability. Dynamically verified. Impact: Full compromise of CI/CD target hosts as root. The attacker can overwrite deployed artifacts, inject trojans into build and deploy pipelines, and take control of every managed server. Advisory: https://0day-rubbish.com/blog/midvision-rapiddeploy-unauth-file-write-rce PoC and full analysis: https://github.com/Exploit-Garbage/0day-Rubbish Vendor has been notified. CVE ID is pending. -- 0day Rubbish Research Team https://0day-rubbish.com _______________________________________________ Sent through the Full Disclosure mailing list https://nmap.org/mailman/listinfo/fulldisclosure Web Archives & RSS: https://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/

Security advisory: Pre-authentication SYSTEM RCE (Zip-Slip plugin planting) in Output Messenger Server 2.0.x (>= 2.0.63) (Srimax Software (Output Technology))
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in Output Messenger Server 2.0.x (>= 2.0.63) (Srimax Software (Output Technology)). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication SYSTEM RCE (Zip-Slip plugin planting) (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) Output Messenger Server 2.0.x accepts XMPP connections on TCP 14121 with no SASL and no credentials; every connection is treated as authenticated. Through linkserver registration and the file-transfer listener, an unauthenticated attacker uploads a crafted ZIP whose entries escape the plugin directory (Zip-Slip in SharpZipLib 0.85.4). On service restart, the planted plugin constructor executes as LocalSystem. Dynamically verified. Impact: Full compromise of the on-premise enterprise instant-messaging server as LocalSystem. The attacker can read corporate communications, execute arbitrary commands, and move laterally inside the office network. Advisory: https://0day-rubbish.com/blog/output-messenger-unauth-zipslip-plugin-rce PoC and full analysis: https://github.com/Exploit-Garbage/0day-Rubbish Vendor has been notified. Title
Security advisory: Pre-authentication RCE (default credentials + path traversal) in PulseNET Enterprise 6.0.3 (build 6975) (GE Vernova)
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in PulseNET Enterprise 6.0.3 (build 6975) (GE Vernova). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication RCE (default credentials + path traversal) (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) GE Vernova PulseNET Enterprise 6.0.3 is the network-management software electric utilities use to monitor and manage the industrial wireless networks connecting substations and distribution automation. It ships with factory-default admin/admin credentials with no forced password change, and the resource-management console builds the target file path by raw string concatenation with no normalization. Because Tomcat runs as root with autoDeploy enabled, an attacker can upload a JSP file into a new web application directory and execute arbitrary commands as root. Dynamically verified with uid=0(root). Impact: Full compromise of the power-network management host as root. The attacker can read the host filesystem, execute arbitrary commands, and gain control of the system a utility relies on to manage communications with its grid. Advisory: https://0day-rubbish.com/blog/ge-pulsenet-resource-file-path-traversal-rce PoC and full analysis: https://github.com/Exploit-Garbage/0day-Rubbish Vendor has been notified. CVE ID is pending. -- 0day Rubbish Research Team https://0day-rubbish.com _______________________________________________ Sent through the Full Disclosure mailing list https://nmap.org/mailman/listinfo/fulldisclosure Web Archives & RSS: https://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/

    Title
Security advisory: Pre-authentication RCE in Confluent Platform (ksqlDB) 7.9.1-ce (Confluent, Inc.)
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in Confluent Platform (ksqlDB) 7.9.1-ce (Confluent, Inc.). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication RCE (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) Confluent Platform 7.9.1-ce exposes an unauthenticated remote code execution chain in its default configuration. ksqlDB (HTTP 8089), the Kafka broker (9092 PLAINTEXT, no SASL) and Kafka Connect (8083) all accept requests without authentication. An attacker submits a CREATE SINK CONNECTOR statement to ksqlDB using FileStreamSinkConnector with an attacker-controlled file path and StringConverter, then produces arbitrary bytes to the subscribed Kafka topic through the unauthenticated broker. The connector appends each message to the target file; writing a cron line to /etc/cron.d/ yields arbitrary command execution as root when crond runs. Dynamically verified with uid=0(root). Impact: Arbitrary command execution as root (the ksqlDB/Connect process user); the attacker can read or destroy data on the host, persist access, and take full control of the Confluent deployment. No credentials are required. Security advisory: Pre-authentication RCE in Wyn Enterprise 9.1.00145.0 (Mescius (GrapeCity))
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in Wyn Enterprise 9.1.00145.0 (Mescius (GrapeCity)). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication RCE (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) Wyn Enterprise 9.1.00145.0 exposes an unauthenticated root RCE chain of three vulnerabilities: JWT signature validation is skipped (parse-only ReadToken) with a hardcoded integration client secret, producing an unauthenticated 10-year admin reference token; the import endpoint allows a zip-slip arbitrary file write (a malicious DLL can be dropped into the security-provider folder); and the security-provider loader scans DLLs and calls Activator.CreateInstance on the parameterless constructor, running as root. All three are reachable without credentials in the default configuration. Dynamically verified with root RCE. Impact: Full host compromise as root (the dotnet container process); the attacker can read the host filesystem, execute arbitrary commands, and take full control of the Wyn server. Title
Security advisory: Pre-authentication SYSTEM RCE in iMonnit Express 4.0.5.5 (Monnit / iMonnit)
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in iMonnit Express 4.0.5.5 (Monnit / iMonnit). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication SYSTEM RCE (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) iMonnit Express 4.0.5.5 is an ASP.NET Core application running as a Windows service with LocalSystem privileges, with no global [Authorize] filter. Three flaws combine into a fully unauthenticated root RCE chain: an auth bypass (an empty security answer list issues a valid admin cookie), a path-traversal file write in the certificate upload endpoint (reachable with the forged cookie), and a plugin loader that calls Assembly.Load + Activator.CreateInstance on the plugin's parameterless constructor BEFORE the IExpressPlugin check - the constructor runs as LocalSystem. Dynamically verified: whoami = nt authority\system. Impact: Full read of the host filesystem and configuration as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM, arbitrary OS command execution, and full control of the iMonnit Express host. Advisory: https://0day-rubbish.com/blog/imonnit-express-unauth-plugin-rce PoC and full analysis: https://github.com/Exploit-Garbage/0day-Rubbish -- 0day Rubbish Research Team https://0day-rubbish.com _______________________________________________ Sent through the Full Disclosure mailing list https://nmap.org/mailman/listinfo/fulldisclosure Web Archives & RSS: https://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/

    Title
Security advisory: Pre-authentication RCE in nanoDLP stable build #10729 (Nano3Dtech)
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in nanoDLP stable build #10729 (Nano3Dtech). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication RCE (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) nanoDLP exposes an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability. The Guest (unauthenticated) endpoint POST /formula evaluates user-supplied JavaScript in an embedded Otto JS sandbox, which exposes a live nanoDLP domain object via nanodlpContext(). The Config object is a cross-request shared live pointer; Config.ShieldUnpause is writable, and Config.Save() persists it to db/machine.json without sanitization. An attacker injects [[Exec <cmd>]] into ShieldUnpause, then the also-unauthenticated GET /printer/unpause triggers the print engine to execute the G-code, reaching os/exec with shell semantics as root. Dynamically verified with uid=0(root). Impact: Full read of the host filesystem and configuration as root, arbitrary OS command execution, and full control of the print server and host. The injected G-code is persisted and re-executes on every unpause. Security advisory: Pre-authentication RCE in Ontotext GraphDB 11.4.3 Free edition (Ontotext / Graphwise)
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in Ontotext GraphDB 11.4.3 Free edition (Ontotext / Graphwise). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication RCE (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) Ontotext GraphDB 11.4.3 Free edition defaults to security=false, which bypasses the entire Spring Security filter chain. As a result, /rest/repositories/ruleset/upload and /repositories/* are anonymously reachable. A .pie ruleset upload is compiled at runtime by the system javac and loaded into the server process. RuleCompilerBase.compilePrefices inlines the namespace prefix verbatim into the generated Java source with only .trim() and no validation. An attacker injects Java code in the prefix; creating a graphdb:Sail repository triggers infer.initialize(), which executes the injected Runtime.exec as the GraphDB process user (root). No authentication and no license are required. Dynamically verified with uid=0(root). Impact: Full host compromise as root (the GraphDB process user); the attacker can read any file, execute arbitrary commands, and take full control of the GraphDB host and its repositories. Title
Security advisory: Pre-authentication SYSTEM RCE in MAPS SCADA 4.0.5.5 (Adroit Technologies)
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in MAPS SCADA 4.0.5.5 (Adroit Technologies). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication SYSTEM RCE (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) MAPS SCADA 4.0.5.5 exposes an IIS WebService (default port 8878) whose WSDataProvider.asmx endpoints deserialize the caller-supplied byte array before any authentication. Serializer.BinaryDeserialization internally calls new BinaryFormatter().Deserialize(stream) with no SerializationBinder and no TypeFilterLevel. An attacker sends a single unauthenticated HTTP SOAP POST carrying a GZip-compressed BinaryFormatter gadget (TypeConfuseDelegate -> Process.Start), achieving arbitrary command execution as the IIS app pool identity - NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM in the default deployment. Dynamically verified. Impact: Full compromise of the SCADA host as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM; the attacker can read any file, execute arbitrary commands, and take full control of the SCADA environment. Advisory: https://0day-rubbish.com/blog/maps-scada-unauth-binaryformatter-rce PoC and full analysis: https://github.com/Exploit-Garbage/0day-Rubbish -- 0day Rubbish Research Team https://0day-rubbish.com _______________________________________________ Sent through the Full Disclosure mailing list https://nmap.org/mailman/listinfo/fulldisclosure Web Archives & RSS: https://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/

Security advisory: Pre-authentication RCE (default credentials) in ObjectDB 2.9.5 server mode (ObjectDB Software)
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in ObjectDB 2.9.5 server mode (ObjectDB Software). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication RCE (default credentials) (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) ObjectDB 2.9.5 server mode (port 6136, proprietary binary protocol) has a critical remote code execution vulnerability: JDOQL query filter evaluation allows arbitrary static-method reflective invocation. Factory default credentials admin/admin grant full privileges with no forced change; the IP check accepts any source IP when the user has no ip attribute. A malicious JDOQL filter such as java.lang.Runtime.getRuntime().exec(cmd) != null is evaluated server-side: QNF.q() loads any class (no class-name allowlist), MCN.l() calls Method.invoke with setAccessible(true), reaching Runtime.exec - the server-side Java process runs as root, yielding uid=0(root) RCE. Dynamically verified. Impact: Full read of the host filesystem and JVM environment as root, arbitrary OS command execution, and full control of the ObjectDB host and database. Title
Security advisory: Pre-authentication RCE in AOMEI Cyber Backup v2.3.0 (AOMEI)
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in AOMEI Cyber Backup v2.3.0 (AOMEI). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication RCE (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) AOMEI Cyber Backup v2.3.0 runs as root in a Docker container and exposes four Thrift binary-protocol ports, but only the 9072 Gateway enforces JWT authentication. The three internal Thrift ports (9074, 9077, 9078) bind to the container network with no authentication handler. An attacker who can reach ports 9074 and 9078 persists an injected NAS credential via AddBackupStorageNAS, then triggers DeleteBackupStorage, whose async lambda builds a CIFS mount command via system() with unescaped username and password fields. A single-quote escape in the username field injects an arbitrary shell command that executes as root (uid=0). Title
Security advisory: Pre-authentication RCE in Plastic SCM (Unity Version Control On-Prem) 11.0.16.10303 (Unity Technologies)
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in Plastic SCM (Unity Version Control On-Prem) 11.0.16.10303 (Unity Technologies). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication RCE (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) Plastic SCM ships a self-developed binary version-control protocol on port 8087, reachable by default on 0.0.0.0. Under the default NameWorkingMode, the server validates only that a client-declared username maps to a local OS account and never checks a password; LocalGroupSEIDProvider.CheckPassword is an empty no-op. Combined with a default EVERYBODY ACL that grants ALL_PERMISSIONS (including mktrigger) to any name-only-authenticated user, an unauthenticated attacker can declare an administrative username (leaked unauthenticated via GetRepositoryServerInfo), create a server-side trigger whose Path is fully attacker-controlled, and trigger it with a repository operation. TriggerProcess.ExecuteTrigger feeds the Path straight into Process.Start as the FileName with no sandbox, path allowlist, or signature check, yielding RCE as the plasticd service account (Linux: plasticscm uid=217; Windows: local Administrator). The only non-network prerequisite is one local OS username, which the protocol itself leaks. Impact: Full compromise of the version-control server and all repositories, and arbitrary command execution as the plasticd service account; the attacker can read source code and repository metadata, create triggers, alter repositories, and persist access. Title
Security advisory: Pre-authentication SYSTEM RCE in Stimulsoft Server 2026.3.1 (Stimulsoft)
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in Stimulsoft Server 2026.3.1 (Stimulsoft). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication SYSTEM RCE (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) A default-configuration defect chain combines into a complete unauthenticated RCE. The /1/signup endpoint is open by default with email activation disabled, so an anonymous attacker registers and immediately receives a Supervisor account. The Supervisor uploads a .mrt report template containing an embedded C# script. PUT /1/reporttemplates/<id>/run triggers the report-script engine, which compiles the script with CSharpCodeProvider in full trust (no AppDomain isolation, no CAS sandbox, no class allowlist) and instantiates the report class, executing the attacker-controlled constructor. The report task runs in the backend service process Stimulsoft.Server.Agent.exe as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM. No credentials, no SMTP, no administrator action, and no non-default configuration are required. Impact: Full system takeover; the report task executes in the backend service process running as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM, giving arbitrary code execution with the highest Windows privilege. Advisory: https://0day-rubbish.com/blog/stimulsoft-server-unauth-report-script-rce PoC and full analysis: https://github.com/Exploit-Garbage/0day-Rubbish -- 0day Rubbish Research Team https://0day-rubbish.com _______________________________________________ Sent through the Full Disclosure mailing list https://nmap.org/mailman/listinfo/fulldisclosure Web Archives & RSS: https://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/

    Title
Security advisory: Pre-authentication RCE in vMix 29 v29.0.0.48 (Studio Coast Pty Ltd)
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in vMix 29 v29.0.0.48 (Studio Coast Pty Ltd). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication RCE (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) vMix 29 ships a Windows-native .NET Framework application with a built-in Web Controller HTTP server on port 8088. The HTTP API endpoint GET /api/?Function=ScriptStartDynamic&Value=<VB.NET source> takes the Value parameter as VB.NET source code, compiles and executes it via VBScriptProvider.Compile. vMix attempts to sandbox user-supplied scripts with a 6-item substring blocklist, but the compilation template injects Imports System.Diagnostics into the generated source before the user's code, so an attacker can call Process.Start directly without writing the blocked substring. Combined with the Web Controller's default blank password (which the official documentation states means no login will be required regardless of the access settings), the entire /api route is reachable without authentication, yielding unauthenticated RCE as the user running vMix64.exe (commonly administrator). Pre-research public CVE count for vMix: 0. Impact: Arbitrary OS command execution as the vMix64.exe run identity (commonly administrator), plus arbitrary file read/write via the same blocklist bypass; no credentials required. Security advisory: Pre-authentication SYSTEM RCE in Vicon Valerus ViconNet Gateway 25.200.46.0 (Vicon Industries)
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in Vicon Valerus ViconNet Gateway 25.200.46.0 (Vicon Industries). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication SYSTEM RCE (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) Vicon Valerus ViconNet Gateway ships an ASP.NET Web API (OWIN self-host, VII.NVR.Host.exe Windows service) bound to /NVR/api/v1 on ports 8084/8444. The endpoint POST /NVR/api/v1/upgrades/multiformat-file-Execute/start receives a [FromBody] string cmd, concatenates it directly to cmd.exe /c, and invokes Process.Start. None of the 8 OWIN middlewares perform authentication, UpgradesController is not annotated with [Authorize], and SetupExecuteCommand bypasses the UpgradeAuthorizationFlag gate that protects the sibling Upgrade() method. The service runs as LocalSystem, so an unauthenticated attacker with network access to the Web API port immediately obtains nt authority\system remote code execution. Impact: Full host compromise as nt authority\system with no credentials required; the attacker can access all recorded video, camera credentials, and VMS configuration, alter video surveillance state, and tamper with or destroy evidence. Title
Security advisory: Pre-authentication RCE in Apache Struts 2 2.6.11.0 (Apache Software Foundation)
    Summary
0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in Apache Struts 2 2.6.11.0 (Apache Software Foundation). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available. Pre-authentication RCE (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication) Apache Struts 2.6.11.0 is vulnerable to unauthenticated remote code execution under a documented REST mapper configuration combined with wildcard dynamic dispatch. RestfulActionMapper.getMapping() extracts the action name from the request URI without calling cleanupActionName, the character-set gate that DefaultActionMapper adopted after S2-057; that fix was never synchronized to the REST mapper. When an application uses struts.mapper.class=restful with a wildcard action and a result containing {1} substitution, attacker-controlled OGNL metacharacters flow through the wildcard capture into TextParseUtil.translateVariables, bypassing AcceptedPatternsChecker. A novel java.beans.Expression/Statement reflection primitive then defeats the SecurityMemberAccess sandbox and reaches Runtime.exec. The chain was verified with uid=0(root) on a Tomcat 9 / OGNL 3.3.5 deployment. The only precondition is an opt-in but documented configuration subset (REST mapper plus wildcard dynamic dispatch). Impact: Arbitrary operating system command execution as the JVM process user; on a root-run deployment, full host compromise. No credentials are required. Advisory: https://0day-rubbish.com/blog/apache-struts2-restful-mapper-ognl-rce PoC and full analysis: https://github.com/Exploit-Garbage/0day-Rubbish -- 0day Rubbish Research Team https://0day-rubbish.com _______________________________________________ Sent through the Full Disclosure mailing list https://nmap.org/mailman/listinfo/fulldisclosure Web Archives & RSS: https://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/

"value": "0day Rubbish Research Team is publicly disclosing a vulnerability in Apache Struts 2 2.6.11.0 (Apache Software \nFoundation). The research is published and a proof-of-concept is available.\n\nPre-authentication RCE (CVSS 9.8, pre-authentication)\n\nApache Struts 2.6.11.0 is vulnerable to unauthenticated remote code execution under a documented REST mapper \nconfiguration combined with wildcard dynamic dispatch. RestfulActionMapper.getMapping() extracts the action name from \nthe request URI without calling cleanupActionName, the character-set gate that DefaultActionMapper adopted after \nS2-057; that fix was never synchronized to the REST mapper. When an application uses struts.mapper.class=restful with a \nwildcard action and a result containing {1} substitution, attacker-controlled OGNL metacharacters flow through the \nwildcard capture into TextParseUtil.translateVariables, bypassing AcceptedPatternsChecker. A novel \njava.beans.Expression/Statement reflection primitive then defeats the SecurityMemberAccess sandbox and reaches \nRuntime.exec. The chain was verified with uid=0(root) on a Tomcat 9 / OGNL 3.3.5 deployment. The only precondition is \nan opt-in but documented configuration subset (REST mapper plus wildcard dynamic dispatch).\n\nImpact: Arbitrary operating system command execution as the JVM process user; on a root-run deployment, full host \ncompromise. No credentials are required.\n\nAdvisory: https://0day-rubbish.com/blog/apache-struts2-restful-mapper-ognl-rce\n\nPoC and full analysis: https://github.com/Exploit-Garbage/0day-Rubbish\n\n-- \n0day Rubbish Research Team\nhttps://0day-rubbish.com\n_______________________________________________\nSent through the Full Disclosure mailing list\nhttps://nmap.org/mailman/listinfo/fulldisclosure\nWeb Archives \u0026 RSS: https://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/"
