    CVE-2026-75908 (GCVE-0-2026-75908)

    Vulnerability from nvd – Published: 2026-08-25 11:27 – Updated: 2026-08-25 18:03
    VLAI
    Title
Newsletters <= 4.17 - Missing Authorization to Authenticated (Author+) Arbitrary Modification via 'newsletters_mailinglistsroles' POST Parameter
    Summary
The Newsletters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.17. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to send arbitrary newsletter emails to users of any WordPress role, including administrators, by forging POST fields during a normal post submission. This allows an attacker-supplied role slug via the newsletters_mailinglistsroles POST field to be passed directly to get_users(), enabling unauthorized mass-mailing and potential phishing against privileged site users through the site's own outbound email channel.

    CVE-2026-12939 (GCVE-0-2026-12939)

    Vulnerability from nvd – Published: 2026-07-29 01:29 – Updated: 2026-07-29 15:06
    VLAI
    Title
Newsletters <= 4.15 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'link' Shortcode Attribute
    Summary
The Newsletters Lite plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'link' attribute of the post_thumbnail (and newsletters_post_thumbnail) shortcodes in versions up to and including 4.15. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the post_thumbnail() method in helpers/shortcode.php, which concatenates the user-controlled $link shortcode attribute directly into an href attribute without esc_url() or esc_attr(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

    CVE-2026-12938 (GCVE-0-2026-12938)

    Vulnerability from nvd – Published: 2026-07-29 01:29 – Updated: 2026-07-29 12:30
    VLAI
    Title
Newsletters <= 4.15 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'target' Shortcode Attribute
    Summary
The Newsletters Lite plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'target' attribute of the [newsletters_post] shortcode in versions up to and including 4.15. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the posts_single() function which propagates the attacker-controlled 'target' attribute into the global $wpml_target, and in the shortcode_posts() 'post_thumbnail' handler which concatenates $wpml_target into a target="..." HTML attribute without esc_attr(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

    CVE-2026-3018 (GCVE-0-2026-3018)

    Vulnerability from nvd – Published: 2026-06-10 08:28 – Updated: 2026-06-10 12:46
    VLAI
    Title
Newsletters <= 4.13 - Unauthenticated SQL Injection via wpmlsubscriber_id Parameter
    Summary
The Newsletters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the ‘wpmlsubscriber_id’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.13 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

    Vulnerability from nvd – Published: 2025-05-31 11:18 – Updated: 2026-04-08 16:45
    VLAI
    Title
    Newsletters <= 4.9.9.9 - Authenticated (Administrator+) Local File Inclusion
    Summary
The Newsletters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.9.9 via the 'file' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to include and execute arbitrary files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where images and other “safe” file types can be uploaded and included.

    CVE-2025-3107 (GCVE-0-2025-3107)

    Vulnerability from nvd – Published: 2025-05-13 06:40 – Updated: 2026-04-08 16:46
    VLAI
    Title
Newsletters <= 4.9.9.8 - Authenticated (Contributor+) SQL Injection orderby Parameter
    Summary
The Newsletters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the ‘orderby' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.9.8 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.

    Title
Newsletters <= 4.9.9.7 - Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via To Parameter
    Summary
The Newsletters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the "to" parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.9.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick an admin user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

    Vulnerability from nvd – Published: 2024-09-06 03:30 – Updated: 2026-04-08 16:42
    VLAI
    Title
    Newsletters <= 4.9.9.2 - Authenticated Privilege Escalation
    Summary
The Newsletters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.9.2. This is due to the plugin not restricting what user meta can be updated as screen options. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to escalate their privileges to that of an administrator. Please note that this only affects users with access to edit/update screen options, which means an administrator would need to grant lower privilege users with access to the Sent & Draft Emails page of the plugin in order for this to be exploited.

    Title
Newsletters <= 4.9.9 - Unauthenticated Full Path Disclosure
    Summary
The Newsletters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Full Path Disclosure in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.9. This is due the plugin not preventing direct access to the /vendor/mobiledetect/mobiledetectlib/export/exportToJSON.php. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to retrieve the full path of the web application, which can be used to aid other attacks. The information displayed is not useful on its own, and requires another vulnerability to be present for damage to an affected website.

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-08-25 11:27 – Updated: 2026-08-25 18:03

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-07-29 01:29 – Updated: 2026-07-29 15:06
    VLAI

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-06-10 08:28 – Updated: 2026-06-10 12:46
    VLAI

    CVE-2025-4857 (GCVE-0-2025-4857)

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2025-05-31 11:18 – Updated: 2026-04-08 16:45
    VLAI
    Title
    Newsletters <= 4.9.9.9 - Authenticated (Administrator+) Local File Inclusion

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2025-05-13 06:40 – Updated: 2026-04-08 16:46

    Title
    Newsletters <= 4.9.9.4 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via newsletters_video Shortcode
    Summary
The Newsletters plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's newsletters_video shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.9.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

    Title
    Newsletters <= 4.9.9.2 - Authenticated Privilege Escalation

    CVE-2024-7411 (GCVE-0-2024-7411)

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2024-08-15 07:32 – Updated: 2026-04-08 16:47
    VLAI
