Title
Event Tickets and Registration <= 5.26.5 - Unauthenticated Ticket Payment Bypass
Summary
The Event Tickets and Registration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to payment bypass in all versions up to, and including, 5.26.5. This is due to the /wp-json/tribe/tickets/v1/commerce/free/order endpoint not verifying that a ticket type should be free allowing the user to bypass the payment. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to obtain access to paid tickets, without paying for them, causing a loss of revenue for the target.

Title
WPC Smart Wishlist for WooCommerce <= 5.0.3 - Insecure Direct Object Reference to Unauthenticated Wishlist Manipulation
Summary
The WPC Smart Wishlist for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.3 via several wishlist AJAX functions due to missing validation on a user controlled key that is exposed when wishlists are shared. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to empty and add to other user's wishlists, if they have access to the key.

Title
IDOR vulnerability in the CFMOTO RIDE API
Summary
An Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability exists in the vehicleId parameter, allowing unauthorized access to sensitive information of other users’ vehicles. Exploiting this issue enables an attacker to retrieve data such as GPS coordinates, encryption keys, initialization vectors, model numbers, and fuel statistics belonging to other users, instead of being limited to their own vehicle data. The fix for this vulnerability is a server-side authorization fix.

WPC Smart Quick View for WooCommerce <= 4.2.5 - Insecure Direct Object Reference to Unauthenticated Private Product Exposure
Summary
The WPC Smart Quick View for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 4.2.5 via the 'woosq_quickview' AJAX endpoint due to insufficient restrictions on which posts can be included. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract data from password protected, private, or draft products that they should not have access to.

Title
Groups <= 3.7.0 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) Insecure Direct Object Reference to Arbitrary Group Join
Summary
The Groups plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.0 via the 'group_id' parameter of the group_join function due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to register for groups other than ones set in the shortcode.

Summary
The Binary MLM Plan plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to insecure direct object reference in versions up to, and including, 5.0. This is due to the bmp_user_payout_detail_of_current_user() function selecting payout records solely by id without verifying ownership. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with the bmp_user role (often subscribers) to view other members' payout summaries via direct requests to the /bmp-account-detail/ endpoint with a crafted payout-id parameter granted they can access the shortcode output.

Title
Ninja Forms – The Contact Form Builder That Grows With You <= 3.13.2 - Insecure Direct Object Reference to Unauthenticated Sensitive Information Exposure via Unscoped Bearer Token
Summary
The Ninja Forms – The Contact Form Builder That Grows With You plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in versions up to, and including, 3.13.2. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized before the `ninja-forms-views` REST endpoints return form metadata and submission content. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary form definitions and submission records via a leaked bearer token granted they can load any page containing the Submissions Table block. NOTE: The developer released a patch for this issue in 3.13.1, but inadvertently introduced a REST API endpoint in which a valid bearer token could be minted for arbitrary form IDs, making this patch ineffective.

Mitigation

Phase: Architecture and Design

Description:

  • For each and every data access, ensure that the user has sufficient privilege to access the record that is being requested.
Mitigation

Phases: Architecture and Design, Implementation

Description:

  • Make sure that the key that is used in the lookup of a specific user's record is not controllable externally by the user or that any tampering can be detected.
Mitigation

Phase: Architecture and Design

Description:

  • Use encryption in order to make it more difficult to guess other legitimate values of the key or associate a digital signature with the key so that the server can verify that there has been no tampering.
