Title
vm2: Sandbox Escape via Promise Constructor Unhandled Rejection (Process Crash DoS)
Summary
vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.0, a sandbox escape vulnerability in vm2 v3.10.5 allows any sandboxed code to crash the host Node.js process via a single Promise constructor that triggers an unhandled rejection propagating to the host. The fix for CVE-2026-22709 (v3.10.2) only sanitized the onRejected callback in .then() and .catch() overrides and did not address the executor-to-unhandledRejection path. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.0.

Title
Vanetza: Remote Denial of Service via Uncaught OER Encoding Exception in Cryptographic Verification
Summary
Vanetza is an open-source implementation of the ETSI C-ITS protocol suite. In 26.02 and earlier, a denial-of-service vulnerability was identified in the cryptographic verification pipeline of Vanetza. When processing incoming V2X messages, the ASN.1 decoder accepts the structure as syntactically valid. However, this reveals a logic-based protocol failure where semantic constraints on specific fields are only strictly enforced during OER re-encoding. Specifically, if a crafted packet contains a certificate where the Psid (Provider Service Identifier) sub-type violates subtype constraints (e.g., out-of-range or invalid CHOICE variant), it is accepted during initial parsing, where subtype constraints are not enforced. Later, when StraightVerifyService attempts to calculate a message hash for cryptographic verification, it must re-encode the signing certificate. The underlying ASN.1 wrapper (asn1c_wrapper.cpp) detects the semantic violation during encoding and raises a std::runtime_error. This exception is not caught within the encoding path and propagates to std::terminate, resulting in immediate process termination. This vulnerability is fixed with commit e1a2e2709210d309458c3d77f98d50dec26c0df0.

Title
NiceGUI: Unauthenticated log-flood DoS via trailing slash on ESM and per-component resource routes
Summary
NiceGUI is a Python-based UI framework. Prior to version 3.12.0, two FastAPI routes that serve per-component static assets in NiceGUI accept a sub-path parameter that may resolve to a directory rather than a file. Requests that resolve to a directory raise an unhandled RuntimeError inside Starlette's FileResponse, which Uvicorn writes to the server log as a full traceback. Because the routes are reachable without authentication, a remote attacker can amplify log volume and consume disk and log-pipeline capacity on any publicly reachable NiceGUI server. This issue has been patched in version 3.12.0.

OpenTelemetry eBPF Instrumentation: Unsafe fastelf parsing allows malformed ELF to crash agent
Summary
OpenTelemetry eBPF Instrumentation provides eBPF instrumentation based on the OpenTelemetry standard. Prior to version 0.9.0, OBI's replacement ELF parser trusts section offsets, counts, and string offsets from the executable file. A crafted local ELF can make OBI dereference invalid section pointers or slice past string tables, causing the agent to panic while determining the process language. This issue has been patched in version 0.9.0.

Title
OpenTelemetry eBPF Instrumentation: MongoDB parser panics on malformed wire messages
Summary
OpenTelemetry eBPF Instrumentation provides eBPF instrumentation based on the OpenTelemetry standard. From version 0.1.0 to before version 0.9.0, malformed MongoDB wire messages can trigger uncaught panics in the MongoDB TCP parser, allowing a remote unauthenticated attacker to crash the telemetry agent and cause a denial of service. The parser operates on raw attacker-controlled network payloads before the input is fully validated, so a single crafted message can terminate telemetry collection for the affected process or node. This issue has been patched in version 0.9.0.

Title
FlashMQ: Client can trigger uncaught exception on FlashMQ 1.26.1 and older
Summary
FlashMQ is a MQTT broker/server, designed for multi-CPU environments. Prior to version 1.26.2, authorized clients have the ability to exceed the permitted over-commit of their write buffer and triggering an internal safe-guard exception. This exception was in a path that was not catchable, and therefore causes a server abort. This issue has been patched in version 1.26.2.

Title
nimiq-primitives: Panic DoS in trie chunk processing via ROOT-keyed item
Summary
Nimiq is a Rust implementation of the Nimiq Proof-of-Stake protocol based on the Albatross consensus algorithm. Prior to version 1.5.0, a remote, unauthenticated denial-of-service vulnerability in MerkleRadixTrie::put_chunk allows any state-sync peer to crash any node performing state synchronization (freshly joining nodes and recovering nodes). This issue has been patched in version 1.5.0.

Title
Kanidm: Unauthenticated process abort via SCIM filter stack exhaustion
Summary
Kanidm is an identity management platform. Prior to version 1.9.3, a single unauthenticated GET to any /scim/v1/... endpoint with a ?filter= query string of a few thousand nested parentheses (≈ 4–12 KB) drives the recursive-descent PEG parser past the worker thread's stack guard page. Rust responds to stack overflow with std::process::abort() — the entire kanidmd process exits. The parse runs inside axum's Query<ScimEntryGetQuery> extractor, before any handler body and therefore before any ACL check. This issue has been patched in version 1.9.3.

Title
Mastodon: Persistent anonymous DoS via unhandled NoMethodError in MATH_TRANSFORMER
Summary
Mastodon is a free, open-source social network server based on ActivityPub. Prior to 4.5.11, 4.4.18, and 4.3.24, a DoS can be triggered by (Uncaught Exception vulerability), due to missing exception handling in the math sanitizer. Malformed <math> nodes can result in a DoS of a whole server or targeted users services, depending on the type of action that includes the malformed nodes and the services interacting with it. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.5.11, 4.4.18, and 4.3.24.

Title
CoreWCF: Kafka consume pump halts permanently on a Kafka tombstone (null-value record), causing persistent endpoint denial of service.
Summary
CoreWCF is a port of the service side of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) to .NET Core. Prior to 1.8.1 and 1.9.1, a CoreWCF service listening on a Kafka topic stops processing new records from that topic when KafkaTransportPump receives a null-value tombstone record, causing a persistent endpoint denial of service for attackers with produce permission. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.1 and 1.9.1.
