Title
free5GC UDM incorrectly returns 500 for empty supi path parameter in PATCH sdm-subscriptions reques
Summary
Free5GC is an open-source Linux Foundation project for 5th generation (5G) mobile core networks. In versions prior to 1.4.2, the UDM incorrectly converts a downstream 400 Bad Request (from UDR) into a 500 Internal Server Error when handling PATCH requests with an empty supi path parameter. Additionally, the UDM incorrectly translates the PATCH method to PUT when forwarding to UDR, indicating a deeper architectural issue. This leaks internal error handling behavior, making it difficult for clients to distinguish between client-side errors and server-side failures. The issue has been patched in version 1.4.2.

Title
Podman Desktop WebView Server Exposed
Summary
Podman Desktop is a graphical tool for developing on containers and Kubernetes. Prior to 1.26.2, an unauthenticated HTTP server exposed by Podman Desktop allows any network attacker to remotely trigger denial-of-service conditions and extract sensitive information. By abusing missing connection limits and timeouts, an attacker can exhaust file descriptors and kernel memory, leading to application crash or full host freeze. Additionally, verbose error responses disclose internal paths and system details (including usernames on Windows), aiding further exploitation. The issue requires no authentication or user interaction and is exploitable over the network. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.26.2.

Title
Free5GC: UDR nudr-dr influenceData/subs-to-notify leaks SUPI in error response body without authentication
Summary
Free5GC is an open-source Linux Foundation project for 5th generation (5G) mobile core networks. Versions 4.2.1 and below contain an information disclosure vulnerability in the UDR (Unified Data Repository) service. The handler for GET /nudr-dr/v2/application-data/influenceData/subs-to-notify sends an HTTP 400 error response when required query parameters are missing but does not return afterward. Execution continues into the processor function, which queries the data repository and appends the full list of Traffic Influence Subscriptions, including SUPI/IMSI values, to the response body. An unauthenticated attacker with network access to the 5G Service Based Interface can retrieve stored subscriber identifiers with a single parameterless HTTP GET request. The SUPI is the most sensitive subscriber identifier in 5G networks, and its exposure undermines the privacy guarantees of the 3GPP SUCI concealment mechanism at the core network level. A similar bypass exists when sending a malformed snssai parameter due to the same missing return pattern.

Title
Spring gRPC AuthenticationException message reflected to remote client
Summary
The raw message of every server-side AuthenticationException is returned to the unauthenticated remote caller in the gRPC status description. This allows an attacker to obtain information about the authentication failure, which may be useful for further attacks. Affected versions: Spring gRPC: 1.0.0 - 1.0.2 (fixed in 1.0.3). Older, unsupported versions are also affected.

Title
monetr is vulnerable to server-side request forgery in Lunch Flow link creation and refresh
Summary
monetr is a budgeting application for recurring expenses. Prior to version 1.12.5, a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in monetr's Lunch Flow integration allowed any authenticated user on a self-hosted instance to cause the monetr server to issue HTTP GET requests to arbitrary URLs supplied by the caller, with the response body from non-200 upstream responses reflected back in the API error message. This issue has been patched in version 1.12.5.

Title
Vvveb < 1.0.8.2 Information Disclosure via Debug Exception Handler
Summary
Vvveb before version 1.0.8.2 contains an information disclosure vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to obtain sensitive server information by triggering unhandled exceptions in the password-reset module. Attackers can access the admin password-reset endpoint to trigger a fatal error caused by a missing namespace import, which exposes the absolute server file path, internal class namespaces, line numbers, and source code excerpts through the debug exception handler rendered to unauthenticated requests.

Title
Vvveb < 1.0.8.3 Uncontrolled Recursion Denial of Service
Summary
Vvveb before 1.0.8.3 contains an uncontrolled recursion vulnerability in the admin controller dispatch cycle where Base::init() repeatedly invokes permission() on error handlers, causing infinite recursion until PHP memory limits are exhausted. Attackers can send sustained requests to forbidden admin URLs from a low-privilege account to exhaust PHP memory on all workers and cause denial of service to legitimate traffic.
CWE

Title
Flight: Sensitive information disclosure via default error handler in flightphp/core
Summary
Flight is an extensible micro-framework for PHP. Prior to 3.18.1, the default error handler Engine::_error() writes the full exception message, exception code, and stack trace (including absolute filesystem paths) directly into the HTTP 500 response, with no debug gating. Production deployments leak internal paths, any secret interpolated into an exception message, and full module structure — giving attackers primitives for chaining other weaknesses (LFI, path traversal). This vulnerability is fixed in 3.18.1.

Title
WWBN AVideo: Unauthenticated Disclosure of CloneSite `myKey` via Error Echo in `cloneClient.json.php` Enables Cross-Site DB Dump of the Configured Clone Server
Summary
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, plugin/CloneSite/cloneClient.json.php echoes the local CloneSite shared secret ($objClone->myKey, a constant md5($global['systemRootPath'] . $global['salt'])) into the HTTP response body on every unauthenticated request. The unauthenticated error branch was intended to reject non-admin callers without a valid key, but the rejection message interpolates the expected key before die(). When the victim has CloneSite configured with a remote cloneSiteURL (standard federation/backup setup), the leaked myKey is exactly the credential that authenticates the victim to that remote server's cloneServer.json.php, allowing the attacker to impersonate the victim and trigger a full mysqldump of the remote's database to the remote's public videos/clones/ directory Commit e6566f56a28f4556b2a0a09d03717a719dcb49da contains an updated fix.

Title
vm2: Host File Path Disclosure via Stack Trace Information Leak
Summary
vm2 is an open source vm/sandbox for Node.js. Prior to 3.11.0, vm2's CallSite wrapper class (intended as a safe wrapper for V8's native CallSite) blocks getThis() and getFunction() to prevent host object leakage, but allows getFileName() to return unsanitized host absolute paths. Any sandboxed code can extract the full directory structure, library paths, and framework versions of the host server. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.0.

Mitigation ID: MIT-39

Phase: Implementation

Description:

  • Ensure that error messages only contain minimal details that are useful to the intended audience and no one else. The messages need to strike the balance between being too cryptic (which can confuse users) or being too detailed (which may reveal more than intended). The messages should not reveal the methods that were used to determine the error. Attackers can use detailed information to refine or optimize their original attack, thereby increasing their chances of success.
  • If errors must be captured in some detail, record them in log messages, but consider what could occur if the log messages can be viewed by attackers. Highly sensitive information such as passwords should never be saved to log files.
  • Avoid inconsistent messaging that might accidentally tip off an attacker about internal state, such as whether a user account exists or not.
Mitigation

Phase: Implementation

Description:

  • Handle exceptions internally and do not display errors containing potentially sensitive information to a user.
Mitigation ID: MIT-33

Phase: Implementation

Strategy: Attack Surface Reduction

Description:

  • Use naming conventions and strong types to make it easier to spot when sensitive data is being used. When creating structures, objects, or other complex entities, separate the sensitive and non-sensitive data as much as possible.
Mitigation ID: MIT-40

Phases: Implementation, Build and Compilation

Strategy: Compilation or Build Hardening

Description:

  • Debugging information should not make its way into a production release.
Mitigation ID: MIT-40

Phases: Implementation, Build and Compilation

Strategy: Environment Hardening

Description:

  • Debugging information should not make its way into a production release.
Mitigation

Phase: System Configuration

Description:

  • Where available, configure the environment to use less verbose error messages. For example, in PHP, disable the display_errors setting during configuration, or at runtime using the error_reporting() function.
Mitigation

Phase: System Configuration

Description:

  • Create default error pages or messages that do not leak any information.
CAPEC-215: Fuzzing for application mapping

An attacker sends random, malformed, or otherwise unexpected messages to a target application and observes the application's log or error messages returned. The attacker does not initially know how a target will respond to individual messages but by attempting a large number of message variants they may find a variant that trigger's desired behavior. In this attack, the purpose of the fuzzing is to observe the application's log and error messages, although fuzzing a target can also sometimes cause the target to enter an unstable state, causing a crash.

CAPEC-463: Padding Oracle Crypto Attack

An adversary is able to efficiently decrypt data without knowing the decryption key if a target system leaks data on whether or not a padding error happened while decrypting the ciphertext. A target system that leaks this type of information becomes the padding oracle and an adversary is able to make use of that oracle to efficiently decrypt data without knowing the decryption key by issuing on average 128*b calls to the padding oracle (where b is the number of bytes in the ciphertext block). In addition to performing decryption, an adversary is also able to produce valid ciphertexts (i.e., perform encryption) by using the padding oracle, all without knowing the encryption key.

CAPEC-54: Query System for Information

An adversary, aware of an application's location (and possibly authorized to use the application), probes an application's structure and evaluates its robustness by submitting requests and examining responses. Often, this is accomplished by sending variants of expected queries in the hope that these modified queries might return information beyond what the expected set of queries would provide.

CAPEC-7: Blind SQL Injection

Blind SQL Injection results from an insufficient mitigation for SQL Injection. Although suppressing database error messages are considered best practice, the suppression alone is not sufficient to prevent SQL Injection. Blind SQL Injection is a form of SQL Injection that overcomes the lack of error messages. Without the error messages that facilitate SQL Injection, the adversary constructs input strings that probe the target through simple Boolean SQL expressions. The adversary can determine if the syntax and structure of the injection was successful based on whether the query was executed or not. Applied iteratively, the adversary determines how and where the target is vulnerable to SQL Injection.
