CVE-2026-110909 (GCVE-0-2026-110909)

Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-10-15 02:56 – Updated: 2026-10-15 02:56
VLAI
Summary
Wheels CLI through 4.1.0 does not verify that the local development server answering its HTTP requests belongs to the current project. A process listening on a port targeted by the CLI can receive the project's reload password and code submitted through wheels reload or wheels console; console also probes common ports when the project server is down. Other commands can perform unintended state-changing operations against a different local application's server and database. Exploitation requires a process listening on a targeted local port and the developer running an affected command. This is fixed in 4.1.1, including changes to the CLI and application template.

CVE-2026-102085 (GCVE-0-2026-102085)

Title
Junos OS Evolved: A port which has been inadvertently exposed can be reached by an attacker
Summary
An Improper Restriction of Communication Channel to Intended Endpoints vulnerability in Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a limited information disclosure and availability impact to the device. Due to a wrong initialization, a process which should only be able to communicate internally within the device can be reached over the network via an open port. This leads to a device being inadvertently exposed and increased CPU cycles spent processing ingress packets. This issue affects Junos OS Evolved: * All versions before 23.2R2-S7.7-EVO; * 23.4 versions before 23.4R2-S8.11-EVO; * 24.2 versions before 24.2R2-S5.6-EVO; * 24.4 versions before 24.4R2-S4-EVO; * 25.2 version before 25.2R2-S1-EVO; * 25.4 versions before 25.4R1-S1-EVO. Please note that this issue is similar to but not identical CVE-2026-33803.

CVE-2026-96454 (GCVE-0-2026-96454)

Title
Pake grants unrestricted IPC access to every HTTPS origin loaded in generated applications
Summary
Pake turns a website into a desktop application built on Tauri. Every application it generates inherits two settings from the upstream template, and together they hand native functionality to untrusted web content. The first is in src-tauri/capabilities/default.json, which grants IPC access with "remote": { "urls": ["https://*.*"] }. That wildcard tells Tauri to accept IPC from any HTTPS origin, not just the site the application was built to wrap. The second is "withGlobalTauri": true in src-tauri/tauri.conf.json, which puts window.__TAURI__.core.invoke() in reach of ordinary page JavaScript. Tauri's access control list only checks plugin commands, the ones prefixed with plugin:. Commands the application registers itself through generate_handler!, known as app commands, are never checked against the ACL. So once an origin holds IPC access, it can call every app command with nothing else standing in the way. Pake registers download_file as an app command, and it does not appear in the permissions list because it does not need to. The practical effect is that any script running on any HTTPS page inside a Pake application can invoke the application's native commands. That includes third-party script the wrapped site loads on its own, such as analytics, advertising, or a compromised CDN. Anyone distributing their own Pake application gets the same access without asking for it. Chained with the path traversal in download_file that is tracked separately as CVE-2026-82635, this reaches arbitrary file write and persistent code execution.

CVE-2026-91166 (GCVE-0-2026-91166)

Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-09-21 18:53 – Updated: 2026-09-24 22:32

Title
Warpgate: Web SSH stores a jump host's key against the target's address, so it validates as the target
Summary
Warpgate is an open source SSH, HTTPS and MySQL bastion host for Linux. From 0.25.0 until 0.27.6, the browser SSH path in warpgate-web-ssh/src/manager.rs handles RCEvent::HostKeyUnknown without the presenting hop identity and instead passes ssh_options.host and ssh_options.port for the final target to KnownHosts::trust. In Prompt and AutoAccept modes, a jump host key can therefore be stored for the target address. A machine later presenting the jump host key at the target address can be accepted as the target, allowing interception of user traffic and a newly issued certificate when certificate authentication is used. The native SSH path is unaffected because it tracks each hop separately. This issue is fixed in version 0.27.6.

CVE-2026-86345 (GCVE-0-2026-86345)

Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-10-01 23:27 – Updated: 2026-10-07 20:19
VLAI
Title
389-ds-base: 389-ds-base: starttls plaintext-buffer retention allows on-path attacker to forge an ldap client's authentication result
Summary
A flaw was found in 389-ds-base. The server does not discard plaintext bytes already buffered from a client connection when negotiating StartTLS, allowing an on-path attacker to inject a crafted LDAP message that is processed after the TLS upgrade and whose response is delivered to the client in place of the client's own pending operation's response, due to messageID collision. This can cause a client application to treat a failed authentication (bind) attempt as successful.

CAPEC-161: Infrastructure Manipulation

An attacker exploits characteristics of the infrastructure of a network entity in order to perpetrate attacks or information gathering on network objects or effect a change in the ordinary information flow between network objects. Most often, this involves manipulation of the routing of network messages so, instead of arriving at their proper destination, they are directed towards an entity of the attackers' choosing, usually a server controlled by the attacker. The victim is often unaware that their messages are not being processed correctly. For example, a targeted client may believe they are connecting to their own bank but, in fact, be connecting to a Pharming site controlled by the attacker which then collects the user's login information in order to hijack the actual bank account.

CAPEC-481: Contradictory Destinations in Traffic Routing Schemes

Adversaries can provide contradictory destinations when sending messages. Traffic is routed in networks using the domain names in various headers available at different levels of the OSI model. In a Content Delivery Network (CDN) multiple domains might be available, and if there are contradictory domain names provided it is possible to route traffic to an inappropriate destination. The technique, called Domain Fronting, involves using different domain names in the SNI field of the TLS header and the Host field of the HTTP header. An alternative technique, called Domainless Fronting, is similar, but the SNI field is left blank.

CAPEC-501: Android Activity Hijack

An adversary intercepts an implicit intent sent to launch a Android-based trusted activity and instead launches a counterfeit activity in its place. The malicious activity is then used to mimic the trusted activity's user interface and prompt the target to enter sensitive data as if they were interacting with the trusted activity.

CAPEC-697: DHCP Spoofing

An adversary masquerades as a legitimate Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server by spoofing DHCP traffic, with the goal of redirecting network traffic or denying service to DHCP.
