Title
OCSP responder certificate validity period not checked in public_key
Summary
Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability in Erlang OTP public_key (pubkey_ocsp module) allows forged OCSP responses signed with an expired responder certificate to be accepted as valid.
OCSP response verification in pubkey_ocsp:verify_response/5 and pubkey_ocsp:is_authorized_responder/3 in lib/public_key/src/pubkey_ocsp.erl does not check the validity period (notBefore/notAfter) of the OCSP responder certificate. An attacker who has obtained the private key of an expired CA-designated OCSP responder certificate can forge OCSP responses that Erlang/OTP accepts as valid.
This affects TLS clients using OCSP stapling via the ssl application: a malicious or compromised server can present a revoked TLS certificate together with a forged OCSP response signed by an expired responder key, and the client will accept the revoked certificate as valid. It also affects applications calling public_key:pkix_ocsp_validate/5 directly, where the impact depends on the use case — server-side client certificate validation using this API may allow authentication bypass with a revoked client certificate.
This issue affects OTP from OTP 27.0 before OTP 29.0.1, OTP 28.5.0.1 and OTP 27.3.4.12, corresponding to public_key from 1.16 before 1.21.1, 1.20.3.1 and 1.17.1.3.

Operation on a Resource after Expiration or Termination in Kibana Leading to Unauthorized File Access

Title
Possible arbitrary code execution during DNSSEC validation
Summary
NLnet Labs Unbound 1.19.1 up to and including version 1.25.0 has a vulnerability in the DNSSEC validator that enables denial of service and possible remote code execution as a result of deep copying a data structure and erroneously overwriting a destination pointer. An adversary can exploit the vulnerability by controlling a malicious signed zone and querying a vulnerable Unbound. When DS sub-queries need to suspend validation due to NSEC3 computational budget exhaustion (introduced in Unbound 1.19.1), Unbound deep-copies response messages to preserve them across memory region teardown. A struct-assignment bug overwrites the destination's pointer with the source's pointer. After the sub-query region is freed, the resumed validator dereferences this dangling pointer, triggering a crash or potentially enabling arbitrary code execution. Unbound 1.25.1 contains a patch with a fix to preserve the correct pointer when deep copying the data structure.

{

"value": "NLnet Labs Unbound 1.19.1 up to and including version 1.25.0 has a vulnerability in the DNSSEC validator that enables denial of service and possible remote code execution as a result of deep copying a data structure and erroneously overwriting a destination pointer. A struct-assignment bug overwrites the destination\u0027s pointer with the source\u0027s pointer. After the sub-query region is freed, the resumed validator dereferences this dangling pointer, triggering a crash or potentially enabling arbitrary code execution. Unbound 1.25.1 contains a patch with a fix to preserve the correct pointer when deep copying the data structure."

Title
Discourse: Cached outdated summaries can leak removed content
Summary
Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. In versions prior to 2026.1.4, 2026.3.1, 2026.4.1 and 2026.5.0-latest.1, outdated cached AI summaries can leak removed content to anonymous and unprivileged users who cannot regenerate summaries. This issue has been fixed in versions 2026.1.4, 2026.3.1, 2026.4.1 and 2026.5.0-latest.1. To work around this issue, restrict summary generation by tightening the allowed groups on the summarization Personas.

Title
Parse Server MFA recovery codes not consumed after use
Summary
Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to 9.6.0-alpha.7 and 8.6.33, when multi-factor authentication (MFA) via TOTP is enabled for a user account, Parse Server generates two single-use recovery codes. These codes are intended as a fallback when the user cannot provide a TOTP token. However, recovery codes are not consumed after use, allowing the same recovery code to be used an unlimited number of times. This defeats the single-use design of recovery codes and weakens the security of MFA-protected accounts. An attacker who obtains a single recovery code can repeatedly authenticate as the affected user without the code ever being invalidated. This vulnerability is fixed in 9.6.0-alpha.7 and 8.6.33.

Title
Arista EOS IPsec Tunnel Sequence Number Mismatch via Interface Flaps when Anti-Replay is Disabled
Summary
On affected platforms with hardware IPSec support running Arista EOS with certain IPsec features enabled, EOS may exhibit unexpected behavior in specific cases. Physical interface flaps and certain agent restarts can cause IPsec tunnel re-establishment with existing Security Associations, resulting in sequence number mismatches between tunnel endpoints potentially causing unstable communication.
