DESCRIPTION: Two vulnerabilities have been reported in Hitachi JP1/File Transmission Server/FTP, which can be exploited by malicious users to bypass certain security restrictions and potentially compromise a vulnerable system.
1) An unspecified error within the user authentication functionality can be exploited to gain access to otherwise restricted files.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow execution of arbitrary code.
