VAR-190001-1055
Vulnerability from variot - Updated: 2022-05-17 22:34Hitachi Command Suite is an integrated software suite for efficient management of virtualized storage and server infrastructure. Hitachi Command Suite has a cross-site scripting vulnerability. Because some unknown input lacks filtering before returning to the user, an attacker can use the vulnerability to conduct a cross-site scripting attack, construct a malicious URI, induce users to parse, obtain sensitive information, or hijack user sessions. Multiple Hitachi Command Suite Products, including Device Manager Software and Tiered Storage Manager Software, are prone to an unspecified cross-site scripting vulnerability because they fail to properly sanitize user-supplied input. An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may let the attacker steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
