Title
MISP automation endpoints may be exposed to CSRF when Sec-Fetch-Site protection is disabled by default
Summary
MISP contains an insecure default configuration in which the Security.check_sec_fetch_site_header control is disabled. When this setting is disabled, state-changing requests such as POST, PUT, or AJAX requests are not restricted based on the browser-provided Sec-Fetch-Site header. A remote unauthenticated attacker could craft a malicious web page that causes an authenticated MISP user’s browser to issue cross-site requests to MISP automation endpoints. If successful, the forged requests may be processed with the privileges of the victim user, potentially allowing unauthorized modification of MISP data or configuration. Enabling Security.check_sec_fetch_site_header mitigates this issue, although operators of multi-homed MISP deployments should validate the setting before enforcing it.

Title
Appsmith: Caddy admin API exposed without authentication
Summary
Appsmith is a platform to build admin panels, internal tools, and dashboards. Prior to 2.1, the bundled Caddy reverse-proxy's admin API — which has no authentication by default — is bound on 0.0.0.0:2019 inside the container. While this listener is not directly published to the host by docker-compose.yml, it is reachable from the Appsmith server process itself or a SSRF vulnerability. An authenticated low-privileged user can therefore drive the SSRF to issue POST /load (or any other admin-API call) against http://0.0.0.0:2019/, fully replacing the live Caddy configuration and taking over the reverse proxy. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.

Prior to 2.1, the bundled Caddy reverse-proxy\u0027s admin API \u2014 which has no authentication by default \u2014 is bound on 0.0.0.0:2019 inside the container. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1."

Title
Nitter - Server-Side Request Forgery in /video Media Proxy Endpoint
Summary
Nitter's /video media proxy endpoint fails to validate target URLs against Twitter/X domains and uses a hardcoded default HMAC key, allowing unauthenticated attackers to compute valid HMACs for arbitrary URLs. Attackers can retrieve HTTP responses from any host reachable by the server, including cloud metadata services and internal network resources.

Title
Insecure Default Configuration in P4 Server
Summary
P4 Server versions prior to 2026.1 are configured with insecure default settings that, when exposed to untrusted networks, allow unauthenticated attackers to create arbitrary user accounts, enumerate existing users, authenticate to accounts with no password set, and access depot contents via the built-in 'remote' user. These default settings, taken together, can lead to unauthorized access to source code repositories and other managed assets. The 2026.1 release, expected in May 2026, enforces secure-by-default configurations on upgrade and new installations

Title
Initialization of a resource with an insecure default in XCharge C6
Summary
A configuration weakness in the device’s remote management service allows an authenticated session to be established over a communication channel intended solely for vehicle-charger signaling. The service is accessible on interfaces exposed through the charging connector, and it accepts a default administrative credential. A malicious device physically connected to the charging interface could leverage this misconfiguration to obtain full administrative access.

CAPEC-665: Exploitation of Thunderbolt Protection Flaws

An adversary leverages a firmware weakness within the Thunderbolt protocol, on a computing device to manipulate Thunderbolt controller firmware in order to exploit vulnerabilities in the implementation of authorization and verification schemes within Thunderbolt protection mechanisms. Upon gaining physical access to a target device, the adversary conducts high-level firmware manipulation of the victim Thunderbolt controller SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) flash, through the use of a SPI Programing device and an external Thunderbolt device, typically as the target device is booting up. If successful, this allows the adversary to modify memory, subvert authentication mechanisms, spoof identities and content, and extract data and memory from the target device. Currently 7 major vulnerabilities exist within Thunderbolt protocol with 9 attack vectors as noted in the Execution Flow.
