Title
Deno: `fetch()` API sandbox bypass via missing DNS resolution check
Summary
Deno is a JavaScript, TypeScript, and WebAssembly runtime. Prior to 2.8.1, when fetch() was called, Deno checked the destination hostname against --deny-net rules but did not re-check the IP addresses that hostname resolved to. An attacker-controlled script could use a specially crafted domain name that passes the hostname check yet resolves to a denied IP, bypassing the network restriction entirely. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.8.1.

auth-fetch-mcp has SSRF Protection Bypass via IPv4-mapped IPv6 Loopback
Summary
auth-fetch-mcp is an MCP server that lets AI assistants fetch content from authenticated web pages. Version 3.0.1 implements SSRF protection in `assertSafeUrl()` (`src/security.ts`) to block requests to private and loopback addresses. However, the `isPrivateV6()` function fails to detect IPv4-mapped IPv6 loopback addresses in their hex-normalized form. When an attacker supplies a URL such as `http://[::ffff:127.0.0.1]:PORT/`, the Node.js WHATWG URL parser silently normalizes the host to `[::ffff:7f00:1]`. Because `net.isIPv4('7f00:1')` returns `false`, the private-IP check is bypassed and the URL is passed to the browser or HTTP client, allowing the MCP tool to reach loopback services that are supposed to be blocked. The issue is exploitable under default configuration without any special environment variable. Version 3.0.1 patches the issue.

@jshookmcp/jshook: ICMP probe and traceroute skip local-network SSRF authorization
Summary
@jshookmcp/jshook is an MCP server that gives AI agents tools for JavaScript analysis and security research. In version 0.3.1, he network domain has a central SSRF authorization policy that blocks private, loopback, link-local, and reserved targets unless an explicit authorization object allows private network access. The policy is enforced by raw HTTP/TCP/TLS RTT tools, but the ICMP probe and traceroute tools resolve the target and invoke the native ICMP/traceroute sink directly. An MCP client with access to an active network domain can therefore ask the jshookmcp server to probe internal addresses even when local SSRF access is disabled for the other raw network tools. This exposes an internal reachability and route mapping primitive from the server network position. Version 0.3.2 fixes the issue.

Fulcio is a certificate authority for issuing code signing certificates for an OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity. Versions through 1.8.5 improperly follow cross-host redirects and attach Kubernetes ServiceAccount tokens during OIDC discovery, allowing a malicious or compromised issuer to perform blind SSRF, substitute and cache malicious JWKS keys, or disclose ServiceAccount tokens to external hosts. Version 1.8.6 blocks cross-host redirects, restricts token injection, and restricts local token loading. No known workarounds are available.

Title
PhpWeasyPrint vulnerable to SSRF and local file disclosure via the attachment option
Summary
PhpWeasyPrint is a PHP library allowing PDF generation from a URL or an HTML page. Prior to version 2.6.0, `pontedilana/php-weasyprint` fetches the content of option values server-side via `file_get_contents()` when the value looks like a URL, without restricting the URL scheme. The `attachment` option of `Pdf` is the reachable sink: any value that passes `isOptionUrl()` (`filter_var(..., FILTER_VALIDATE_URL)`) is downloaded by the PHP process and embedded into the generated PDF. Because `FILTER_VALIDATE_URL` accepts `http`, `https`, `ftp`, `file` and PHP stream wrappers such as `php://`, an attacker who can influence the `attachment` value reaches both a **Server-Side Request Forgery** primitive (e.g. internal HTTP endpoints, cloud metadata) and a local file disclosure primitive (`file://`, `php://filter/...`), with the fetched bytes exfiltrated as a PDF attachment. This is the same class of issue KnpLabs/snappy patched for its `xsl-style-sheet` option in GHSA-c5fp-p67m-gq56. The library is documented as a one-to-one substitute for KnpLabs/snappy and shares the same code shape. PhpWeasyPrint version 2.6.0 contains a patch for the issue.

Prior to version 2.6.0, `pontedilana/php-weasyprint` fetches the content of option values server-side via `file_get_contents()` when the value looks like a URL, without restricting the URL scheme. The `attachment` option of `Pdf` is the reachable sink: any value that passes `isOptionUrl()` (`filter_var(..., FILTER_VALIDATE_URL)`) is downloaded by the PHP process and embedded into the generated PDF. Because `FILTER_VALIDATE_URL` accepts `http`, `https`, `ftp`, `file` and PHP stream wrappers such as `php://`, an attacker who can influence the `attachment` value reaches both a **Server-Side Request Forgery** primitive (e.g. internal HTTP endpoints, cloud metadata) and a local file disclosure primitive (`file://`, `php://filter/...`), with the fetched bytes exfiltrated as a PDF attachment. This is the same class of issue KnpLabs/snappy patched for its `xsl-style-sheet` option in GHSA-c5fp-p67m-gq56. The library is documented as a one-to-one substitute for KnpLabs/snappy and shares the same code shape. PhpWeasyPrint version 2.6.0 contains a patch for the issue."

Title
Mercator CVE Configuration Vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF)
Summary
Mercator is an open source web application that enables mapping of the information system. Prior to version 2025.05.19, a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in Mercator's CVE configuration panel (`/admin/config/parameters`). The `testProvider()` method in `ConfigurationController` passes user-supplied input directly to `curl_init()` without validating the scheme, hostname, or destination IP address. An authenticated user with the `configure` permission can force the Mercator server to issue arbitrary outbound network requests. The suffix `/api/dbInfo` appended to the URL can be bypassed by injecting a `#` fragment character (e.g. `http://TARGET/PATH#`), allowing full control over the target URL. No scheme whitelist, host whitelist, or private/loopback IP block is applied. The `telnet://` scheme can be used for internal port scanning; the `gopher://` scheme enables interaction with unauthenticated internal services (Redis, Memcached), potentially leading to Remote Code Execution under specific deployment conditions. Version 2025.05.19 patches the issue.

Aimeos Pagible CMS vulnerable to Server Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via DNS rebinding in admin proxy

In the Aimeos Pagible content management system prior to version 0.10.4, the administrative proxy route (`cmsproxy`) is vulnerable to a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attack via DNS Rebinding. A Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) race condition exists between the URL validation phase and the actual HTTP request phase, allowing attackers to access internal network resources and cloud metadata endpoints. Version 0.10.4 fixes the issue.

Title
TypeBot: SSRF protection bypass via IPv6 unspecified address in Typebot HTTP request execution
Summary
TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. Prior to 3.17.2, Typebot's shared SSRF validator in packages/lib/src/ssrf/validateHttpReqUrl.ts can be bypassed with the IPv6 unspecified address :: because validateIPAddress blocks local, metadata, and private ranges but does not block :: or its expanded form. A workspace editor or creator can configure a server-side HTTP Request block or guarded script fetch to make the Typebot server connect to local HTTP services through safeKy, including flows triggered by POST /v1/typebots/{publicId}/startChat or POST /v1/sessions/{sessionId}/continueChat. This issue is fixed in version 3.17.2.

Nanobot < 0.2.1 SSRF via Microsoft Teams Channel serviceUrl Poisoning
Summary
Nanobot prior to version 0.2.1 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the Microsoft Teams channel handler that allows remote attackers to exfiltrate Bot Framework bearer tokens by supplying a forged activity with an attacker-controlled serviceUrl value. Attackers can poison the stored conversation reference by sending a crafted inbound activity to the Teams webhook, causing subsequent bot replies to transmit token-bearing Authorization header requests to an attacker-controlled host.

CAPEC-664: Server Side Request Forgery

An adversary exploits improper input validation by submitting maliciously crafted input to a target application running on a server, with the goal of forcing the server to make a request either to itself, to web services running in the server’s internal network, or to external third parties. If successful, the adversary’s request will be made with the server’s privilege level, bypassing its authentication controls. This ultimately allows the adversary to access sensitive data, execute commands on the server’s network, and make external requests with the stolen identity of the server. Server Side Request Forgery attacks differ from Cross Site Request Forgery attacks in that they target the server itself, whereas CSRF attacks exploit an insecure user authentication mechanism to perform unauthorized actions on the user's behalf.
