Title
Appsmith: SSRF in REST API / GraphQL datasource plugins via insufficient host denylist
Summary
Appsmith is a platform to build admin panels, internal tools, and dashboards. Prior to 2.1, the outbound HTTP host filter applied by WebClientUtils (used by the REST API and GraphQL datasource plugins) validates hosts against an exact-match string denylist. The comprehensive address-class check (loopback, any-local, link-local, fc00::/7) exists only on a separate code path used by SMTP, not by the HTTP plugin path. As a result, an authenticated user can craft outbound requests that reach loopback-bound services inside the container. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.

Title
Open edX Platform: SSRF in Studio Video Download Endpoint
Summary
Open edX Platform enables the authoring and delivery of online learning at any scale. Prior to commit 00b7c3c, the endpoint accepts user-supplied files[].url, performs a server-side fetch using "requests.get(url, allow_redirects=True)". The fetched bytes are then returned inside a ZIP response. This enables SSRF with response exfiltration. Redirect-following is enabled, and there is no timeout in the vulnerable fetch path. This issue has been patched via commit 00b7c3c.

Title
ToolJet Cloud - SSRF to Azure Cloud Infrastructure Compromise
Summary
ToolJet is the open-source foundation am AI-native platform for building and deploying internal tools, workflows and AI agents. Prior to 3.20.178-lts, there's an SSRF in the RestAPI data source component. The RestAPI data source executes HTTP requests server-side, and its private IP filter only checks the hostname string — not the resolved IP. DNS names like 169.254.169.254.nip.io resolve to the Azure IMDS link-local address and bypass the filter entirely. This allows any authenticated user (free tier) to steal Azure managed identity tokens for the AKS production cluster. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.20.178-lts.

Title
datamodel-code-generator vulnerable to SSRF protection bypass via DNS rebinding
Summary
datamodel-code-generator generates Pydantic v2 models, dataclasses, TypedDict, and msgspec.Struct from OpenAPI, JSON Schema, GraphQL, Avro, Protobuf, and raw JSON, YAML, or CSV. Prior to 0.63.0, datamodel-code-generator validates a URL host once in src/datamodel_code_generator/http.py through get_body, _validate_url_for_fetch, and _get_ips_from_host, but then lets httpx resolve the host again for the connection, allowing DNS rebinding to bypass allow_private_network=False and reach internal services. This issue is fixed in version 0.63.0.

Title
Bifrost: SSRF deny-list incomplete: isPublicIP permits CGNAT, IPv6 6to4/NAT64, and site-local in FetchAndEncodeURL
Summary
Bifrost is an enterprise AI gateway for routing requests to model providers. Prior to 1.5.17, the isPublicIP function in core/providers/utils/fetch.go, reached through FetchAndEncodeURL for Bedrock and Vertex image or document URLs, classifies Carrier-Grade NAT 100.64.0.0/10, IPv6 6to4 2002::/16, NAT64 64:ff9b::/96 and 64:ff9b:1::/48, and deprecated IPv6 site-local fec0::/10 addresses as public. A remote attacker who controls a multimodal request URL can make the gateway fetch internal services, including a cloud instance metadata endpoint encoded through 6to4 or NAT64. This issue is fixed in version 1.5.17.

Title
Gotenberg: SSRF via LibreOffice document processing
Summary
Gotenberg is a Docker-powered stateless API for PDF files. Prior to 8.34.0, Gotenberg's /forms/libreoffice/convert endpoint allows a specially crafted document to cause LibreOffice to automatically retrieve external HTTP(S) resources and local file resources during document conversion, enabling blind SSRF and limited local file disclosure via linked image resource loading. This issue is fixed in version 8.34.0.

Title
Mailpit: Incomplete SSRF protection in Link Check API via IPv6 transition mechanisms (follow-up to CVE-2026-27808)
Summary
Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. Prior to 1.30.2, the remediation shipped for CVE-2026-27808 is incomplete because the tools.IsInternalIP deny-list in internal/tools/net.go relies on Go's standard library classification helpers and does not block IPv6 transition mechanisms or prefixes such as NAT64, 6to4, IPv4-compatible IPv6, ISATAP, fec0::/10, and 2001:db8::/32. An attacker who can deliver email and invoke POST /api/v1/message/{ID}/link-check can coerce the Link Check API's safeDialContext path into dialing internal destinations and can use status-code and error feedback to map internal service reachability, including cloud metadata endpoints. This issue is fixed in version 1.30.2.

Title
Lemur: any SSO-authenticated user achieves AWS IAM compromise and permanent PKI key access via ACME acme_url SSRF and creator-equality IDOR
Summary
Lemur manages TLS certificate creation. Prior to 1.9.2, authenticated users could influence an ACME authority acme_url without an effective server-side destination restriction and trigger AcmeHandler.setup_acme_client to make backend requests. An attacker could target cloud instance metadata or internal services from Lemur network context, potentially obtaining credentials available to the host. The advisory also identifies creator-equality authorization behavior that could preserve access to certificate key material after ownership or role changes, with insufficient export_private_key audit context to distinguish that access path. Together, the acme_url server-side request forgery and authorization weakness could expose cloud credentials and long-lived PKI private-key access. The fix adds ACME_DIRECTORY_HOST_ALLOWLIST validation and enriches key-export audit events with creator and current-owner context. This issue is fixed in version 1.9.2.

Title
Lemur: Post-authentication SSRF via certificate verification - attacker-controlled CRL and OCSP URLs in uploaded certificates
Summary
Lemur manages TLS certificate creation. Prior to 1.9.2, lemur/certificates/verify.py accepted CRL Distribution Point and OCSP responder URLs from uploaded certificate extensions and used them in crl_verify and ocsp_verify without adequate destination validation. An authenticated operator could submit a certificate through POST /api/1/certificates/upload and cause verify_string to reach loopback, RFC1918, link-local, or instance-metadata destinations such as 169.254.169.254. The requests could probe internal services and create side effects from the Lemur host network position. The CRL path also used an unbounded cache, allowing attacker-controlled entries to persist and consume memory. The fix validates destinations, supports explicit trusted-host allowlists, and bounds the CRL cache. This issue is fixed in version 1.9.2.

CAPEC-664: Server Side Request Forgery

An adversary exploits improper input validation by submitting maliciously crafted input to a target application running on a server, with the goal of forcing the server to make a request either to itself, to web services running in the server’s internal network, or to external third parties. If successful, the adversary’s request will be made with the server’s privilege level, bypassing its authentication controls. This ultimately allows the adversary to access sensitive data, execute commands on the server’s network, and make external requests with the stolen identity of the server. Server Side Request Forgery attacks differ from Cross Site Request Forgery attacks in that they target the server itself, whereas CSRF attacks exploit an insecure user authentication mechanism to perform unauthorized actions on the user's behalf.
