CVE-2026-6703 (GCVE-0-2026-6703)

Title
Responsive Blocks <= 2.2.1 - Missing Authorization to Authenticated (Contributor+) Arbitrary Modification via AJAX Actions
Summary
The Responsive Blocks – Page Builder for Blocks & Patterns plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.1. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to modify global site-wide plugin configuration options, including toggling custom CSS, disabling blocks, changing layout defaults such as content width, container padding, and container gap, and altering auto-block-recovery behavior.

Title
PgBouncer missing authorization check in KILL_CLIENT admin command
Summary
PgBouncer before 1.25.2 did not perform an appropriate authorization check for the KILL_CLIENT admin command. All users with access to the administration console (which itself requires authorization) could run this command. It would have been correct to allow only users listed in the admin_users parameter.

Title
GWD Connect <= 2.9 - Unauthenticated Limited Code Execution via update_agent
Summary
The GWD Connect plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to missing authorization to limited code execution in all versions up to, and including, 2.9. This is due to the plugin's standalone agent endpoints (gwd-backup.php and gwd-logs.php) not verifying authentication when the API key has not been configured, which is the default state. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers - on unregistered installations only, in certain environments - to execute arbitrary code on the server via the update_agent action, which writes attacker-supplied PHP code to the agent file.

Title
AI Chatbot & Workflow Automation by AIWU <= 1.4.6 - Missing Authorization to Unauthenticated Sensitive Information Exposure
Summary
The AI Chatbot & Workflow Automation by AIWU plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.6. This is due to the `getCurrentTaskResults()` method in `modules/workspace/controller.php` being accessible without authentication or authorization checks. The method is not included in the workspace controller's `getNoncedMethods()` array, the base `getPermissions()` returns an empty array, and all AJAX actions are registered with `wp_ajax_nopriv_` hooks (`classes/frame.php:282`). When tasks are created via features like the Bulk Post Generator, the task parameters — including the OpenAI API key in plaintext, AI prompts, keywords, and full AI model configuration — are stored in the database and returned in the JSON response. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to enumerate sequential task IDs and retrieve sensitive configuration data including API keys.

CVE-2026-6627 (GCVE-0-2026-6627)

Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-08-05 06:37 – Updated: 2026-08-05 14:44
VLAI
Title
WPFormify <= 1.1.1 - Missing Authorization
Summary
The WPFormify – Stripe Payments with Form and Checkout plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification and deletion of Stripe payment credentials in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.1. This is due to missing capability checks and nonce verification on the `wpf_stripe_callback_success()` and `wpf_stripe_disconnect()` functions, both hooked to `admin_init`. The `admin_init` hook fires on `admin-post.php` which is accessible without authentication. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to overwrite the site's Stripe API credentials with attacker-controlled values (redirecting payments to the attacker's Stripe account) or disconnect the Stripe integration entirely by deleting the stored credentials.

Title
InfusedWoo Pro <= 5.1.2 - Unauthenticated Missing Authorization to Arbitrary Post Deletion via Multiple Parameters
Summary
The InfusedWoo Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.2. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to permanently delete arbitrary posts, pages, products, or orders, mass-delete all comments on any post, and change any post's status.

Title
InfusedWoo Pro <= 5.1.2 - Unauthenticated Missing Authorization to Privilege Escalation via 'iwar_save_recipe'
Summary
The InfusedWoo Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation via missing authorization in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.2. This is due to missing nonce verification and capability checks in the iwar_save_recipe() AJAX handler. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create a malicious automation recipe that pairs an HTTP post trigger with an auto-login action, allowing any unauthenticated visitor to visit a crafted URL and receive authentication cookies for any targeted user account (e.g., administrator), achieving complete authentication bypass and privilege escalation.

Mitigation
Architecture and Design
  • Divide the product into anonymous, normal, privileged, and administrative areas. Reduce the attack surface by carefully mapping roles with data and functionality. Use role-based access control (RBAC) [REF-229] to enforce the roles at the appropriate boundaries.
  • Note that this approach may not protect against horizontal authorization, i.e., it will not protect a user from attacking others with the same role.
Mitigation
Architecture and Design

Ensure that access control checks are performed related to the business logic. These checks may be different than the access control checks that are applied to more generic resources such as files, connections, processes, memory, and database records. For example, a database may restrict access for medical records to a specific database user, but each record might only be intended to be accessible to the patient and the patient's doctor [REF-7].

Mitigation MIT-4.4
Architecture and Design

Strategy: Libraries or Frameworks

  • Use a vetted library or framework that does not allow this weakness to occur or provides constructs that make this weakness easier to avoid.
  • For example, consider using authorization frameworks such as the JAAS Authorization Framework [REF-233] and the OWASP ESAPI Access Control feature [REF-45].
Mitigation
Architecture and Design
  • For web applications, make sure that the access control mechanism is enforced correctly at the server side on every page. Users should not be able to access any unauthorized functionality or information by simply requesting direct access to that page.
  • One way to do this is to ensure that all pages containing sensitive information are not cached, and that all such pages restrict access to requests that are accompanied by an active and authenticated session token associated with a user who has the required permissions to access that page.
Mitigation
System Configuration Installation

Use the access control capabilities of your operating system and server environment and define your access control lists accordingly. Use a "default deny" policy when defining these ACLs.

CAPEC-665: Exploitation of Thunderbolt Protection Flaws

An adversary leverages a firmware weakness within the Thunderbolt protocol, on a computing device to manipulate Thunderbolt controller firmware in order to exploit vulnerabilities in the implementation of authorization and verification schemes within Thunderbolt protection mechanisms. Upon gaining physical access to a target device, the adversary conducts high-level firmware manipulation of the victim Thunderbolt controller SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) flash, through the use of a SPI Programing device and an external Thunderbolt device, typically as the target device is booting up. If successful, this allows the adversary to modify memory, subvert authentication mechanisms, spoof identities and content, and extract data and memory from the target device. Currently 7 major vulnerabilities exist within Thunderbolt protocol with 9 attack vectors as noted in the Execution Flow.
