Vulnerability from github – Published: 2022-10-11 12:00 – Updated: 2022-10-14 12:00A vulnerability in the SSH implementation of Cisco IOS Software and Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to cause an affected device to reload. This vulnerability is due to improper handling of resources during an exceptional situation. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by continuously connecting to an affected device and sending specific SSH requests. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to reload.

GHSA-X6PX-8WP8-5CWQ
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2026-01-15 21:31 – Updated: 2026-03-11 00:31An Improper Handling of Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in packet processing of Juniper Networks Junos OS allows an unauthenticated, network-adjacent attacker sending a specifically malformed ICMP packet to cause an FPC to crash and restart, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
When an ICMP packet is received with a specifically malformed IP header value, the FPC receiving the packet crashes and restarts. Due to the specific type of malformed packet, adjacent upstream routers would not forward the packet, limiting the attack surface to adjacent networks.
This issue only affects ICMPv4. ICMPv6 is not vulnerable to this issue.
This issue affects Junos OS:
- all versions before 21.2R3-S9,
- from 21.4 before 21.4R3-S10,
- from 22.2 before 22.2R3-S7,
- from 22.3 before 22.3R3-S4,
- from 22.4 before 22.4R3-S5,
- from 23.2 before 23.2R2-S3,
- from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S3,
- from 24.2 before 24.2R1-S2, 24.2R2.

Vulnerability from github – Published: 2024-11-08 06:30 – Updated: 2025-11-04 00:31In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
remoteproc: k3-r5: Fix error handling when power-up failed
By simply bailing out, the driver was violating its rule and internal assumptions that either both or no rproc should be initialized. E.g., this could cause the first core to be available but not the second one, leading to crashes on its shutdown later on while trying to dereference that second instance.

GHSA-X7P5-C683-6JRP
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2024-04-16 21:31 – Updated: 2025-02-07 21:30An Improper Handling of Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an adjacent unauthenticated attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS), which causes the l2cpd process to crash by sending a specific TLV.
The l2cpd process is responsible for layer 2 control protocols, such as STP, RSTP, MSTP, VSTP, ERP, and LLDP. The impact of the l2cpd crash is reinitialization of STP protocols (RSTP, MSTP or VSTP), and MVRP and ERP, leading to a Denial of Service. Continued receipt and processing of this specific TLV will create a sustained Denial of Service (DoS) condition. This issue affects:
Junos OS: all versions before 20.4R3-S9, from 21.2 before 21.2R3-S7, from 21.3 before 21.3R3-S5, from 21.4 before 21.4R3-S4, from 22.1 before 22.1R3-S4, from 22.2 before 22.2R3-S2, from 22.3 before 22.3R2-S2, 22.3R3-S1, from 22.4 before 22.4R2-S2, 22.4R3, from 23.2 before 23.2R1-S1, 23.2R2;
Junos OS Evolved: all versions before 21.2R3-S7,
from 21.3 before 21.3R3-S5-EVO, from 21.4 before 21.4R3-S5-EVO, from 22.1 before 22.1R3-S4-EVO, from 22.2 before 22.2R3-S2-EVO, from 22.3 before 22.3R2-S2-EVO, 22.3R3-S1-EVO, from 22.4 before 22.4R2-S2-EVO, 22.4R3-EVO, from 23.2 before 23.2R1-S1-EVO, 23.2R2-EVO.

Vulnerability from github – Published: 2022-05-24 17:48 – Updated: 2022-05-24 17:48A vulnerability in the processing of traffic matching a firewall filter containing a syslog action in Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX Series with MPC10/MPC11 cards installed, PTX10003 and PTX10008 Series devices, will cause the line card to crash and restart, creating a Denial of Service (DoS). Continued receipt and processing of packets matching the firewall filter can create a sustained Denial of Service (DoS) condition. When traffic hits the firewall filter, configured on lo0 or any physical interface on the line card, containing a term with a syslog action (e.g. 'term then syslog'), the affected line card will crash and restart, impacting traffic processing through the ports of the line card. This issue only affects MX Series routers with MPC10 or MPC11 line cards, and PTX10003 or PTX10008 Series packet transport routers. No other platforms or models of line cards are affected by this issue. Note: This issue has also been identified and described in technical service bulletin TSB17931 (login required). This issue affects: Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX Series: 19.3 versions prior to 19.3R3-S2; 19.4 versions prior to 19.4R3-S2; 20.1 versions prior to 20.1R3; 20.2 versions prior to 20.2R2-S2, 20.2R3; 20.3 versions prior to 20.3R3; 20.4 versions prior to 20.4R2. Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved on PTX10003, PTX10008: All versions prior to 20.4R2-EVO. This issue does not affect Juniper Networks Junos OS versions prior to 19.3R1.
