Title
Elementor Website Builder <= 3.35.7 - Incorrect Authorization to Authenticated (Contributor+) Sensitive Information Exposure via Elementor Template
Summary
The Elementor Website Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.35.7. This is due to a logic error in the is_allowed_to_read_template() function permission check that treats non-published templates as readable without verifying edit capabilities. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to read private or draft Elementor template content via the 'template_id' supplied to the 'get_template_data' action of the 'elementor_ajax' endpoint.

Title
Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key in GitLab
Summary
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab EE affecting all versions from 16.7 before 18.6.6, 18.7 before 18.7.4, and 18.8 before 18.8.4 that, under certain conditions could have allowed an authenticated user to access iteration data from private descendant groups by querying the iterations API endpoint.

Title
WP ULike <= 4.8.3.1 - Insecure Direct Object Reference to Authenticated (Subscriber+) Arbitrary Log Deletion via 'id' Parameter
Summary
The WP ULike plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 4.8.3.1. This is due to the `wp_ulike_delete_history_api` AJAX action not verifying that the log entry being deleted belongs to the current user. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above (granted the 'stats' capability is assigned to their role), to delete arbitrary log entries belonging to other users via the 'id' parameter.

Title
Unauthorized ShadowAttribute modification in MISP via client-supplied identifier
Summary
A vulnerability was identified in the ShadowAttribute proposal creation workflow. The add action accepted user-controlled ShadowAttribute request data without removing the id field before saving the record. Because the underlying framework treats a supplied primary key as an instruction to update an existing record, an authenticated user able to submit shadow attribute proposals could provide the identifier of an existing ShadowAttribute and cause that record to be updated instead of creating a new proposal. This can result in unauthorized modification of existing shadow attributes, potentially affecting proposals associated with events the user should not be able to alter. Depending on deployment configuration and accessible API responses, the issue may also expose or move proposal data across event contexts. The vulnerability is caused by trusting a client-supplied primary key during object creation. The fix removes the id field from incoming ShadowAttribute data before processing, ensuring that the endpoint always creates a new proposal rather than updating an existing one. This has been fixed in MISP 2.5.38.

Title
stoatchat 20241213-1 Webhook Token Disclosure via Read Permissions
Summary
stoatchat (delta/Revolt) versions from 20241213-1 before 20250210-1 allow users with only ViewChannel (read) permission on a channel to fetch that channel's webhooks, including their tokens, because the webhook fetch endpoint checked for ViewChannel instead of ManageWebhooks. Using a retrieved token, an attacker can send arbitrary messages to the channel, bypassing channel permissions and impersonating a bot or webhook. Fixed in 20250210-1 (0.8.2).

Mitigation
Architecture and Design

For each and every data access, ensure that the user has sufficient privilege to access the record that is being requested.

Mitigation
Architecture and Design Implementation

Make sure that the key that is used in the lookup of a specific user's record is not controllable externally by the user or that any tampering can be detected.

Mitigation
Architecture and Design

Use encryption in order to make it more difficult to guess other legitimate values of the key or associate a digital signature with the key so that the server can verify that there has been no tampering.

No CAPEC attack patterns related to this CWE.
