net: ice: Fix potential NULL pointer dereference in ice_bridge_setlink()
The function ice_bridge_setlink() may encounter a NULL pointer dereference if nlmsg_find_attr() returns NULL and br_spec is dereferenced subsequently in nla_for_each_nested(). To address this issue, add a check to ensure that br_spec is not NULL before proceeding with the nested attribute iteration.

tracing: Do not let histogram values have some modifiers
Histogram values can not be strings, stacktraces, graphs, symbols, syscalls, or grouped in buckets or log. Give an error if a value is set to do so.
Note, the histogram code was not prepared to handle these modifiers for histograms and caused a bug.

EDAC/mc: Fix error path ordering in edac_mc_alloc()
When the mci->pvt_info allocation in edac_mc_alloc() fails, the error path will call put_device() which will end up calling the device's release function.
However, the init ordering is wrong such that device_initialize() happens after the failed allocation and thus the device itself and the release function pointer are not initialized yet when they're called:

This was found by Claude while reviewing another EDAC patch.

For any pointers that could have been modified or provided from a function that can return NULL, check the pointer for NULL before use. When working with a multithreaded or otherwise asynchronous environment, ensure that proper locking APIs are used to lock before the check, and unlock when it has finished [REF-1484].
