Vulnerability from github – Published: 2022-05-13 01:39 – Updated: 2022-05-13 01:39In F5 BIG-IP LTM, AAM, AFM, Analytics, APM, ASM, DNS, GTM, Link Controller, PEM and Websafe software version 13.0.0, 12.0.0 to 12.1.2 and 11.5.1 to 11.6.1, under limited circumstances connections handled by a Virtual Server with an associated SOCKS profile may not be properly cleaned up, potentially leading to resource starvation. GHSA-JFV4-R4R3-XX7W
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2024-03-27 18:32 – Updated: 2024-03-27 18:32A vulnerability in the multicast DNS (mDNS) gateway feature of Cisco IOS XE Software for Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition.
This vulnerability is due to improper management of mDNS client entries. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by connecting to the wireless network and sending a continuous stream of specific mDNS packets. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the wireless controller to have high CPU utilization, which could lead to access points (APs) losing their connection to the controller and result in a DoS condition.

GHSA-JM7M-8JH6-29HP
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2023-10-10 18:31 – Updated: 2025-02-13 19:16Incomplete Cleanup vulnerability in Apache Tomcat.
The internal fork of Commons FileUpload packaged with Apache Tomcat 9.0.70 through 9.0.80 and 8.5.85 through 8.5.93 included an unreleased, in progress refactoring that exposed a potential denial of service on Windows if a web application opened a stream for an uploaded file but failed to close the stream. The file would never be deleted from disk creating the possibility of an eventual denial of service due to the disk being full.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.0.81 onwards or 8.5.94 onwards, which fixes the issue.

GHSA-M3HV-89F3-WRRC
Vulnerability from github – Published: 2024-09-11 18:31 – Updated: 2025-05-09 09:33In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
usb: xhci: Check for xhci->interrupters being allocated in xhci_mem_clearup()
If xhci_mem_init() fails, it calls into xhci_mem_cleanup() to mop up the damage. If it fails early enough, before xhci->interrupters is allocated but after xhci->max_interrupters has been set, which happens in most (all?) cases, things get uglier, as xhci_mem_cleanup() unconditionally derefences xhci->interrupters. With prejudice.
Gate the interrupt freeing loop with a check on xhci->interrupters being non-NULL.
Found while debugging a DMA allocation issue that led the XHCI driver on this exact path.
