Title
Broken Access Control in Azuriom CMS Server Routes Allows Account Takeover
Summary
Missing Authorization in the server management routes (routes/admin.php) in Azuriom Azuriom CMS before 1.2.11 on all platforms allows an authenticated attacker with the admin.access permission to create AzLink server tokens and take over non-admin user accounts by changing their passwords and email addresses via crafted HTTP requests to /admin/servers/create and the AzLink API endpoints (/api/azlink/password, /api/azlink/email, /api/azlink/user/{id}).

Title
Daytona: Path traversal in sandbox volume id mounts arbitrary host paths into the sandbox — cross-tenant data access and host escape
Summary
Daytona is a secure and elastic infrastructure runtime for AI-generated code execution and agent workflows. Prior to 0.186, a sandbox volume reference (volumeId, which may also be a volume name) was forwarded to the runner and used to build the host bind-mount source path without confinement. A reference containing path-traversal sequences could in principle resolve the mount source outside the intended per-volume base directory. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.186.

Title
Windows-machine-config-operator: windows-machine-config-operator: wicd csr extra-organization allows privilege escalation to system:masters
Summary
A flaw was found in the Windows Machine Config Operator (WMCO) for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. The WICD CSR auto-approver validates that a Certificate Signing Request contains the organization system:wicd-nodes but does not reject additional organization values such as system:masters. A compromised Windows worker node that holds WICD credentials can submit a CSR that is auto-approved and signed by the cluster, yielding a client certificate that grants cluster-administrator privileges and enabling full cluster takeover.

Title
FOSSBilling's missing self-edit prevention in staff permission management allows persistent privilege escalation
Summary
FOSSBilling is a free, open-source billing and client management system. Versions prior to 0.8.0 allow a low-privileged staff account to grant arbitrary module permissions to itself through the admin API, resulting in persistent privilege escalation. A staff user that only has `staff.create_and_edit_staff` can call `/api/admin/staff/permissions_update` targeting their own account and write any permission structure, bypassing the intended role-based access control boundary. Version 0.8.0 patches the issue. Some workarounds are available. Restrict the `staff.create_and_edit_staff` permission to only highly trusted staff members and/or use a reverse proxy or WAF to restrict access to `/api/admin/staff/permissions_update` to specific trusted roles.

Restrict the `staff.create_and_edit_staff` permission to only highly trusted staff members and/or use a reverse proxy or WAF to restrict access to `/api/admin/staff/permissions_update` to specific trusted roles."

Title
LeafWiki Vulnerable to Privilege Escalation via User Self-Service Update
Summary
LeafWiki is a self-hosted wiki. Versions 0.1.0 through 0.10.0 have a privilege escalation vulnerability in the user update API. An authenticated user could update their own account role and escalate privileges from a regular user, such as `viewer`, to `admin`. Exploitation requires a valid authenticated LeafWiki user account. Instances without public registration and with only trusted users are at lower practical risk. Users should update to version 0.10.1 or greater. Until a patch is available, operators should restrict account creation and ensure that only trusted users have accounts on affected LeafWiki instances. If possible, access to the user update API should be restricted to trusted users or administrators only.

Title
Better Auth: Privilege escalation via SSO provider registration: missing admin role check in @better-auth/sso
Summary
Better Auth is an authentication and authorization library for TypeScript. From 1.2.10 until 1.6.11, the @better-auth/sso plugin's POST /sso/register endpoint lets any organization member attach a new SSO provider to that organization because registerSSOProvider checks only for a membership row and does not require an owner or admin role, allowing attacker-controlled OIDC or SAML providers to drive /sso/callback/{providerId} organization provisioning. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.11.

Title
Wekan: Missing authorization on OIDC Meteor methods allows privilege escalation to admin
Summary
Wekan is open source kanban built with Meteor. Prior to 9.32, Wekan OIDC-related Meteor methods in packages/wekan-oidc/oidc_server.js, server/models/org.js, and server/models/team.js are globally callable without the admin authorization checks used by their non-OIDC counterparts. Authenticated users can call setCreateOrgFromOidc, setOrgAllFieldsFromOidc, setCreateTeamFromOidc, setTeamAllFieldsFromOidc, boardRoutineOnLogin, or groupRoutineOnLogin to create or modify organizations and teams, and groupRoutineOnLogin can grant global admin privileges when PROPAGATE_OIDC_DATA is enabled. This issue is fixed in version 9.32.

CVE-2026-52808 (GCVE-0-2026-52808)

Title
Gogs: Write-level collaborators can mutate admin-only repository settings via API
Summary
Gogs is an open source self-hosted Git service. Prior to 0.14.3, three API endpoints — PATCH /api/v1/repos/:owner/:repo/issue-tracker, PATCH /api/v1/repos/:owner/:repo/wiki, and POST /api/v1/repos/:owner/:repo/mirror-sync — are gated by reqRepoWriter() rather than reqRepoAdmin(). The equivalent operations in the web UI sit behind reqRepoAdmin, which requires AccessMode >= AccessModeAdmin. A write-level collaborator (who has AccessMode == AccessModeWrite < AccessModeAdmin) can therefore call these API endpoints directly to disable the native issue tracker or wiki, inject attacker-controlled external tracker/wiki URLs that redirect all repository visitors, or trigger mirror sync — none of which they are authorized to do. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.14.3.

Title
Fission: Incomplete capability denylist in Environment/Function PodSpec validation allows tenant-added CAP_SYS_TIME and cross-tenant node wall-clock corruption
Summary
Fission is an open-source, Kubernetes-native serverless framework that simplifies the deployment of functions and applications on Kubernetes. Prior to version 1.25.0, Fission added PodSpec safety validation for tenant-facing Environment and Function CRDs (ValidatePodSpecSafety / ValidateContainerSafety admission webhook + sanitizeContainerSecurityContext executor merge layer), but the capability check was implemented as a fixed denylist of six Linux capabilities (SYS_ADMIN, NET_ADMIN, SYS_PTRACE, SYS_MODULE, DAC_READ_SEARCH, DAC_OVERRIDE). The denylist omitted CAP_SYS_TIME, among others. As a result, a tenant who could create a Function or Environment CRD could request securityContext.capabilities.add: ["SYS_TIME"], pass Fission's admission validation and merge-layer sanitization, and run attacker-controlled code with CAP_SYS_TIME in the resulting function or runtime container. This issue has been patched in version 1.25.0.

Mitigation MIT-1
Architecture and Design Operation

Very carefully manage the setting, management, and handling of privileges. Explicitly manage trust zones in the software.

Mitigation MIT-48
Architecture and Design

Strategy: Separation of Privilege

Follow the principle of least privilege when assigning access rights to entities in a software system.

Mitigation MIT-49
Architecture and Design

Strategy: Separation of Privilege

Consider following the principle of separation of privilege. Require multiple conditions to be met before permitting access to a system resource.

CAPEC-122: Privilege Abuse

An adversary is able to exploit features of the target that should be reserved for privileged users or administrators but are exposed to use by lower or non-privileged accounts. Access to sensitive information and functionality must be controlled to ensure that only authorized users are able to access these resources.

CAPEC-233: Privilege Escalation

An adversary exploits a weakness enabling them to elevate their privilege and perform an action that they are not supposed to be authorized to perform.

CAPEC-58: Restful Privilege Elevation

An adversary identifies a Rest HTTP (Get, Put, Delete) style permission method allowing them to perform various malicious actions upon server data due to lack of access control mechanisms implemented within the application service accepting HTTP messages.
