Affected: AlmaLinux:10: go-toolset, AlmaLinux:10: golang, AlmaLinux:10: golang-bin, AlmaLinux:10: golang-docs, AlmaLinux:10: golang-misc, AlmaLinux:10: golang-race, AlmaLinux:10: golang-src, AlmaLinux:10: golang-tests

The golang packages provide the Go programming language compiler.

Security Fix(es):

* net/[http:](http:) golang: golang: Denial of Service via crafted HTTP Range headers (CVE-2026-78667)
 * crypto/tls: golang: crypto/tls: Denial of Service via multiple ECH outer extension references (CVE-2026-97031)
 * net/[http:](http:) net/http/internal/http2: golang.org/x/net/http2: net/[http:](http:) Denial of Service via excessive HTTP/2 SETTINGS frames (CVE-2026-78669)
 * golang: crypto/x509: Go: crypto/x509: mitigation for security concerns with a specific Certificate Authority (CVE-2026-111943)

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

* Update Go to version 1.26.10+1 [almalinux-10.2.z] (JIRA:AlmaLinux-287191)

For more details about the security issue(s), including the impact, a CVSS score, acknowledgments, and other related information, refer to the CVE page(s) listed in the References section.

On most platforms, Go uses the given system root certificates. However, in some narrower cases, the system trust stores may not be updated without further action. To defend against the narrower set of cases that may remain affected, a denylist was added in crypto/x509 to return an error when calling Verify with any of the known intermediate certificates that are no longer considered to be trustworthy.

RUSTSEC-2026-0381 — Bundled root certificates allow trust in distrusted emSign intermediates

Affected: crates.io: webpki-roots

Affected versions include `emSign ECC Root CA - G3`, which can allow certificate
paths through distrusted emSign intermediates.

Affected versions may accept certificate paths containing distrusted emSign
intermediate public keys. The private keys corresponding to these intermediates
are now well known.

Version 1.0.10+ removes this root.

The `webpki-roots` 0.26.11 compatibility package contains no independent trust
store and re-exports the roots from its separately resolved 1.x dependency.
That parent dependency must resolve to 1.0.10 or newer; an older parent remains
affected by this advisory.
