Title
InfoDoc Document On-line Submission and Approval System - Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF)
Summary
InfoDoc Document On-line Submission and Approval System lacks sufficient restrictions on the available tags within its HTML to PDF conversion function, and allowing an unauthenticated attackers to load remote or local resources through HTML tags such as iframe. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated remote attackers to perform Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attacks, gaining unauthorized access to arbitrary system files and uncovering the internal network topology.

Title
Apache Airflow: Exposure of sensitive connection information, DOS and SSRF on "test connection" feature
Summary
Apache Airflow, in versions prior to 2.7.0, contains a security vulnerability that can be exploited by an authenticated user possessing Connection edit privileges. This vulnerability allows the user to access connection information and exploit the test connection feature by sending many requests, leading to a denial of service (DoS) condition on the server. Furthermore, malicious actors can leverage this vulnerability to establish harmful connections with the server. Users of Apache Airflow are strongly advised to upgrade to version 2.7.0 or newer to mitigate the risk associated with this vulnerability. Additionally, administrators are encouraged to review and adjust user permissions to restrict access to sensitive functionalities, reducing the attack surface.
Severity
No CVSS data available.

Title
WP Remote Users Sync <= 1.2.12 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) Server Side Request Forgery
Summary
The WP Remote Users Sync plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server Side Request Forgery via the 'notify_ping_remote' AJAX function in versions up to, and including, 1.2.12. This can allow authenticated attackers with subscriber-level permissions or above to make web requests to arbitrary locations originating from the web application and can be used to query and modify information from internal services. This was partially patched in version 1.2.12 and fully patched in version 1.2.13.

CVE-2023-39967 (GCVE-0-2023-39967)

Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2023-09-06 20:40 – Updated: 2024-09-26 15:11

Title
Full read and controlled SSRF through URL parameter when testing a request inside wiremock-studio
Summary
WireMock is a tool for mocking HTTP services. When certain request URLs like “@127.0.0.1:1234" are used in WireMock Studio configuration fields, the request might be forwarded to an arbitrary service reachable from WireMock’s instance. There are 3 identified potential attack vectors: via “TestRequester” functionality, webhooks and the proxy mode. As we can control HTTP Method, HTTP Headers, HTTP Data, it allows sending requests with the default level of credentials for the WireMock instance. The vendor has discontinued the affected Wiremock studio product and there will be no fix. Users are advised to find alternatives.

CAPEC-664: Server Side Request Forgery

An adversary exploits improper input validation by submitting maliciously crafted input to a target application running on a server, with the goal of forcing the server to make a request either to itself, to web services running in the server’s internal network, or to external third parties. If successful, the adversary’s request will be made with the server’s privilege level, bypassing its authentication controls. This ultimately allows the adversary to access sensitive data, execute commands on the server’s network, and make external requests with the stolen identity of the server. Server Side Request Forgery attacks differ from Cross Site Request Forgery attacks in that they target the server itself, whereas CSRF attacks exploit an insecure user authentication mechanism to perform unauthorized actions on the user's behalf.
